My brother-in-law's face is on beer. Everyone go buy it.

Here’s a fun new Dark Rye Ale coming from Lucid Brewing called “This is Craig…This is Craig’s Ale.” Look for this beer to be packaged in 750ml and come in at 8% ABV. So who is Craig? Well Craig was actually the largest contributor to Lucid Brewing when they started their Kickstarter campaign to open the brewery. Congratulations Craig!

Ha. That's awesome. Not a big Lucid fan but they're pretty new so it'll be interesting to see where they go.

Your brother in law is Jimmi Simpson?

I've got a few dribbles of 2 Gingers and Jameson to polish off tonight.

Going to go ahead and get some Reyka Vodka, as it was recommended earlier in this thread.

How much is a decent sized bottle that might last me a bit? Anything else to recommend? Preferably for shots/mixed drinks?

It's for that person who doesn't like coffee....but needs that extra kick

No but seriously I think the point is that it's an energy drink replica without as much sugar and caffeine. And it uses real juice apparently.

Depends on if you're an alcoholic

1 liter is pretty standard. That will make ~15-20 drinks depending on how strong you pour.

Lotta people are up in arms over that Mountain Dew drink. I don't get it.

16oz Kickstart = 80 calories, 92mg caffeine + vitamins B3, B6, C
16oz Mountain Dew = 220 calories, 72mg caffeine
16oz Monster Energy = 200 calories, 160mg caffeine

It's less than half as many calories as soda or an energy drink, a little more caffeine than soda but far less than an energy drink, and while the tiny bit of juice and vitamins probably aren't that much, it's better than nothing.

It was left in the fridge by a friend and I haven't actually tried it.

i'm not up in arms about it, but i do think its a ridiculous marketing gimmick and probably shouldn't exist. If it keeps the people who drink normal mountain dew or monster for breakfast from drinking those, then why not? a five hour energy seems even less bad for you, however.

Heading to Hudson for a beer run and to go to Bakers as they've got Three Floyds on tap.

Did a pick sixer tonight because I couldn't decide what to get, as well as picked up a case (I was eyeing up bottles of liquor, but I'm craving beer).

First up on the night is Leine's Vanilla Porter. I had 2 at the bar on Monday of last week, and I enjoyed it on tap, so I had to try it again.

Beer two is Leine's Creamy Dark. It's my first time trying this, and I think I like it a bit more than the Porter.

Enjoying my Hopslam in small doses. Well, trying to. Might be my all time favorite beer. Hops, honey, citrus, pineapple...mmm...and you only really need one. Was able to nurse one through the Wild game last night.

Same, I'm only taking down about 1 per week.
