Or really any of them for that matter. But yeah, Duchene/ROR is gonna be awkward.

Not happy with how it went down, but this instantly improves our forward situation I guess.

Now I'm wondering if Feaster and PL worked with each other to save face for the Avs? This is so weird.

How the hell is O'Reilly gonna look Duchene in the face after all of this?
I'm pretty sure he'll look at him like this

I really didn't expect a decision this quick. Countdown until Stastny is traded?

Not happy with anything regarding this situation, including Sherman, and the potential 1st and 3rd return.

Don't know what to think now that we've matched it.

I think the Avs matching the offer this quickly showed they always wanted him back and weren't afraid to spend, they just couldn't justify telling it EJ and Dutchy if they offered more.

This way, it shows their committed to winning (well, kind of...) to the players, while have an excuse saying their hands are tied. I'm not worried about the next contracts at all.

I wonder if it had anything to do with the 2-0 lead?!
Sherman ends up paying him 5 mil per anyway and 6.5 in the 2nd year. How is this about principles? Sherman lost.

Edit; btw, I'm not sure about all the details so I'm not attacking.

So I was wrong about #90 making his season debut next Sunday against the Sharks.

Maybe this Sunday against the Blue Jackets?

Lol 1st and a 3rd is not good value for him. Especially considering that Flames 1st round pick percentage of being a top 5 is pretty low.
