"Captain K calls it quits" !

Montreal Canadiens captain Saku Koivu announced his retirement today.
Koivu received a high stick to the eye by Carolina forward Justin Williams in game 3 of the eastern conference quarter finals, it would be Koivu's last.

Nov 7th : The habs win by forfeit the game they were supposed to play against Edm; Kevin Lowe explained that the Oilers had to fold the team cause nobody wanted to play in Edmonton anymore

June 21st : After a thunderous rookie season where he collected 75 pts, centering Kovalev and Guill Latendresse, Grabovsky is named the NHL rookie of the year, barely edging out Latendresse who scored 34 goals
Joined in St-Georges-de-Beauce where he's now a star for the Garaga, Ribeiro says he never had the real chance he deserved in the NHL

Anyways, the 110% headlines and discussions are similar. When habs have a 2 games losing streak, the headlines are like '' Les canadiens desespérés!'' '' M. Gainey, il serait temps de bouger!''

Huet gets the SO against the Sens after only receiving 9 shots. Says it's the easiest SO of his career.

I guess Ribs is now the new Brisebois. I think CH fans always need a quebecer to bash on.
