I know I'm probably in the majority here, but I really wish they would bring back draws. Get rid of the loser point, double OT, and if it's still tied by the end of it, both teams get a point.
The North American phobia of draws has given us two of the worst parts of regular season NHL, the loser point and the shootout.
Well I'd have proposed one of our second rate center prospects instead, but I figured it would be too delusional.
I think having a shootout and no loser point would be just as bad, IMO you either need infinite OT, which could be problematic during the regular season, or bring back draws.
5 millions seems to me a bit steep for RoR. We got lucky no one offered +5 for Subban.
He might be worth it in a few years, he's ahead of Plekanec at the same age, but I think the Avs made a mistake matching. I'm not convinced his offensive upside is that much higher than it is right now, the best part of his game is his intelligence, not skill.

I say 3 points for a regulation win and 2 points for a sgootout win.

3 on 3 hockey would lead to quick scores.
What I would like to see
Regulation win 3 points, OT win 2 points, OT loss 1 point.
It is not fair OT games lead to 3 points while regulation win games only offer two points. It already has happened where teams with multiple loser point losses beat out other teams with more wins into the playoffs. It should not happen.

I don't mind this either. I'm not against the loser point as much of regulation wins are worth 3 points.
Tell faster that DD helps them make8th place and Moen helps them win rounds.
Markov and DD would do it. Problem is it might not be a top 5. Then again if it's as deep as 2003 a 10th overall would give you all kinds of options. I'd also ask for more picks as well.
