Hedberg with a good game tonight, he has shaped up to a real soild backup goalie, perhaps even a 1b in another combination of goalies. I do not remember the deals when he left, but it for sure was no abundance of good goalies back then.

CoHo's both SH% and SV% are out of whack so we should see his scoring slow down as well as his GA.

Friedman had an interesting nugget on the radio yesterday (was news to me, maybe it was brought up here before): After discussing ROR's dad going full Lindros, he used it to segue into talking about Hodgson: Apparently after we traded Cody, Friedman was on tv and said something to the effect of (paraphrased from memory) "I don't know if it's his dad or his agent or who's in Cody's ear, but he needs to tell them to just let him play hockey". Something like that. Anyways, I guess within the next 24 hours he got a phone call from Cody's dad. He wouldn't say what was said, but I know if I was a 20 something (oh I guess I sort of am for another three weeks), I'd find it very embarrassing if my dad was doing that.

Btw Jyrki that hipster TL is amazing.

Really? Doesn't this in fact confirm what was said about it at the time by Gillis?

24 hours and the father is on the line... Wow.

Seems that if anything, his agent should be on the line clarifying their position, not to chide Friedman for relaying what he did. He clearly had his source.

Roussel with his 4th goal, that's how many he had all last year with the Wolves .

That's too bad. I thought he'd be a mainstay on our 4th line for years.

Sad to hear Oreskovich's career is done.

Great energy player.

holy **** anyone see Coho's shorty in the final minute today? couple of unreal moves to beat a few Canes then flipped it by Peters, pretty much went end to end.

Antoine Roussel?

It just occurred to me that Roussel was Canuck property last season... How did he end up playing for Dallas?

I understand his stats were pretty brutal in the AHL last year, but boy would he look good on the Canucks right now.

Taylor Pyatt played his 800th career game tonight.

Pretty amazing for a plug who isn't even that old.
