Wow that was a devastating kick. Unbelievable.

I havent watched the show in awhile. I'm enjoying the season. Production values seem improved.

Hall looked so worried after that kick landed.

This season has been refreshingly good so far. The kick was amazing but the overal production of the show has improved dramatically & the focus switch (thus far) to training & regular house life has been a welcome addition. For the most part they seemed to have secured guys who actually want to be fighters & not Junies', fingers crossed that it continues.

Sonnen & Jones have been excellent coaches up til now also. Especially Chael, it's nice to see his other side, by all accountants from most fighters he is a completely different guy when not promoting a fight. Speaking of, I hope he talks to the team about being a showman, just to get inside his head.

I think bringing back the Wild Card will help tremendously in that aspect to keep the guy motivated and prevent them from turning into the next Julian Lane's of the house.

Here is the video of Weidman vs. Uriah Hall. Similar to the Cella fight, Hall has some defensive flaws. He relies too heavily on stepping out of the way of attacks and doesn't keep his hands up. Perhaps his ground game is weak and he keeps them low to avoid takedowns, but I can't help think that higher caliber strikers will exploit that to no end.

Still, the guy is a beast offensively.

Hall is a genetic beast; great build for fighting.
Am I the only one who wants to see Bubba get KO'd?

Josh Samman is my least favorite guy on the show so far. Hoping he gets Hall'd.

Love this speach by Sonnen. The guy is a hell of a coach. The kids wrestling team he coaches back in Oregon must love having someone like that pass them knowledge.

Kelvin was pretty impressive for such a young and inexperienced kid. Beating an experienced guy (20-6) who has 5-6 inches on you is a big accomplishment for someone with only 4 fights.

Sonnen again showed himself to be an effective coach - you could tell Calvin listened in that second round.

Good episode.. Uriah needs to chill out.. I don't care how good you are, it's not going to be easy if you've got no friends in the house.

Thor gassed himself out doing nothing on the ground. When will these guys learn that cardio is a must when fighting a 5 min round? Disappointed in the European. Was expecting more after all the hype.

Curious if he gets a shot at the wildcard (altho id imagine Bubba gets it at the moment).

I agree. I really wanted to get behind that guy after reading his back story & seeing him fight but he makes it hard.

He is so insecure & gets overly defensive. When he brought buddies woman into it he was way out of line & off based. The guy said "you are going to the hard rock, the rest of us are going to red rock", he was probably referring to hall fighting at the hard rock, they all know he's legit.

Calling out teammate is total BS also. When you have troubles with both groups, chances are good that you are a ******.

I hope someone grapple humps him to death.

I dont know why Bubba would get it. I dont think he has the heart of a fighter. After all his big talk and walking around like he is the best fighter in the house he loses to one of the smallest guys in the house with little or no experience.

Impressive win from Jimmy Quinlan. Clint looked absurdly strong - those shots he was landing from his back were pretty vicious. On ******, Quinlan said that even those odd angle elbows were rocking him pretty good and that's why he was so hesitant to open up space and go for ground strikes until he had a truly dominant position.

Quinlan also mentioned that Clint explained his 2nd round takedown attempt by saying that he knew Jimmy was going to get him on the cage again, and he figured he had a better shot at winning the fight from on top than on bottom. Frankly, I thought Clint won round 1 given the amount of damaging shots he landed.

I am almost always inclined to give the round to the wrestler in cases like this, and even still there was no question Clint won that round. He did far more damage. Quinlan barely threw a punch the entire round.

I thought the wildcard choices were weak. I didn't think bubba showed enough to get the wildcard, and Bones seemed to choose him because he knew him longer.

On Kevin, again we'll see what Sonnen saw, but I thought Kevin looked pretty 'meh'. Though from his team, I'm not sure there was a better choice.
