I think we should not have this discussion until the over sheet is not matched for sure. No reason to now.
I guess everyone is entitled to an opinion even if it is unfounded.
As for the lines: yes, they are very deep. What would need to be done is a retooling that saw some wingers packaged (and even Backlund) that could put another legitimate top 6 into the picture. There are a lot of things to like about our D, but there is a bit of a log jam with guys like Sarich, Babs and Smith all being legitimate top 6 D that have been in and out of the line-up. I see a very good team unfolding in front of us with a little more work.
Too many wingers on this, and I'm still waiting for when Cervenka will be centering in the top 9.
I'm not. He's slow and has poor defensive awareness. He definitely needs to be kept on the wing. I know communication and conditioning and blah blah blah, but I just don't see him as a good fit at center.
