Teddy Purcell

Bolts need D like it's nobody's business. And to the Bolts fans that may criticize me for it, I think at this point, Teddy is expendable. Our offense won't suffer that much without him. We're the highest scoring team in the league, we'll find ways to score without Teddy.

Maybe Kronwall? Aren't Detroit fans not happy with him this year? We'll take him. Highly doubt Detroit would part with him though.

I feel as if the Devils would be good trading partners.

Anyway, what would you offer for a scoring winger?

I should iterate that we would probably prefer a stay-at-home D with a strong physical side.

I don't see Purcell as the odd man out.. Malone is the more likely guy in the off season. We just re-uped Teddy for 3 years.

TBL going for the CUP? Vis has been a beast for the isles but I would give him up for Purcell, but I dont know if your looking for more than a rental. Plus I dont the Isles would want to pay Teddy....I would love him on JT's wing

Detroit can't trade Kronwall, they need defense more than Tampa.

Purcell should be expendable given the NHL-ready forward talent the Lightning have in the system. He has a reasonable contract and would be a solid option for any team looking to bolster one of their scoring lines. It's not urgent, but I would like to see him traded before the beginning of next season. The Lightning will have several guys capable replacing him in the top six, and Purcell should have a good amount of value given his age, production, and contract.

Mtl and tampa could be good partners.

A deal around Diaz for Purcell could benefit both teams. Diaz has been great for us but we would need Purcell for the power play and in place of Gionta.

How about a package with Purcie and Connolly? What would that fetch us?

Maybe Calgary could be a good trade partner depending on what they are going to do for Jarome Iginla. If they see him staying for another season and don't want to trade him at the deadline then adding pieces for him to work with might help keep him there. Giordano and Bouwmeester are 30 years old, but are decent veterans who may be able to help bolster the defense.

Feaster is, after all, NOT DONE!

I don't hate any of these deals to be honest, besides maybe Michalek and Diaz. I don't know enough about them to be honest.

And idk if Detroit needs D more than Tampa. We gave up 20 shots to the Rangers just 10 minutes into the first period today. While managing 3 on them.

Newfie playmaker Purcell feeding Newfie sniper Ryder? Would make a lot of Newfies happy.

I'd rather us give a bigger role to Despres, find a rental like Regehr and go with the young guys next year.

His time as a Pen is coming to an end. I think he has some good hockey left in him, but in a more structured system.

I think this is close.. Purcell and a mid pick for Orpik and Kennedy? Sounds like the Penguins have been trying to get rid of him anyway.. I'd be willing to swap out the pick for one of the bottom pairing Dmen as well..

Why Kennedy, who have ZERO place for him even without Purcell.

Would rather do it straight up or add a 6th or 7th from Pit

Is Orpik not being looked upon favorably in Pittsburg? I like him. He's physical, something the Bolts need, oh so bad.

Both, Purcell and Malone are expendable. Tampa need more tough defensemans, more precisely people moving defenseman

So much wrong in this post.

It's like saying Stamkos only scores when St-louis feeds him the puck.

Diaz has been really good this year and was a ppg in the swiss league during the lockout. FYI he has been playing top pk minutes this year he is miles better than Bergeron.

That deal would make too much sense because we would have to get rid of Gionta

A line Plekanec Purcell Ryder would be nice indeed.

I still like him as a pens fans but some pens fans do not agree.

But I would seriously consider something around Orpik for Purcell.

think it could benefit both teams.
