At this point I would say yes, but we don't really know for certain yet.

With Noke coming back we'll be at 24 guys (assuming Diaz and Bourque don't go on IR) wonder if we'll see Weber or Kaberle dealt soon?

John Lu ‏@JohnLuTSNMtl

#Habs Nokelainen leading stretch in his first practice of the season. Teammates salute with round of stick applause.

If we have no long term injuries when Noke returns, that would be
amazing. It would mean that Bourque and Diaz haven't been out very
long. And it would mean there were no new major injuries.

Where is the "knock on wood" smiley.

According to Richard Labbé from LaPresse.ca , there is no timetable set for Diaz and Bourque returns. Short terms, Kaberle can pick up the slack left by Diaz’s absence but big Bourque is a lot tougher to replace.

****ing Nokalainen. He, Blunden and Weber just remind me of what happened last season. I want neither of those three on the team.

Noke is a damn good 13th forward. He's a good defensive grinder, who's skilled and really good on faceoffs. Great asset to have.

I hope not: I like him as a right handed faceoff specialist. That said, I was not expecting White to be this good in the faceoff circle (apparently, Dumont completely dominated him during the preseason FO drills) so maybe Nokelainen has become redundant.

Agreed. Take into account that he makes about league minimum, and he's very solid. People hate on him for no reason.

One of Kaberle or Weber must have to go then. But with all the injuries, we might see the players we have now for the rest of the season. Isn't there a date when teams can have as many players as they want ?

White's surprised me. I don't know where his face-off skill came from, but he's become much more valuable as a solid 4th-line C. Also, the kid learned his lesson after his stupid penalty a couple of weeks ago and has been very disciplined ever since. I'm impressed.

As I said after the game against the leafs...not so sure that's true.

Diaz has really become an important part of our attack and his smart stick play and passing gets us safely out of the zone. Kaberle twice almost screwed us. I don't hate him, but he's a liability with the potential for a good play here and there while Diaz is not just safe, but integral.

I will miss Bourque's play, particularly this weekend - I think he would have done very well against these two teams and helped Pleks and Gio, so I totally agree with you there. Then again, I didn't think there were any fwd holes against the leafs (or Sens ftm). I really hope this becomes a sniping party for Chucky. It's about time his shot got him some goals.

I like Nokes. He's solid and makes some surprisingly great plays. Remember that slapper off the bench from the blue line? Was that against boston?

You blame three spare parts for massively underperforming, overpaid players in Gomez, Gionta and Cammalleri and an inept and out-dated Jacques Martin and an incompetent Randy Cunneyworth?

« Ils ont les mêmes symptômes, je ne peux pas en dire plus, a affirmé Therrien. Ils sont au même point qu’ils étaient il y a quelques jours. »

They don't get any better.
Do we know the exact cause of the concussion to Bourque and Diaz ?

People here should watch Head Games on Netflix before making opinions on concussions.

Seconded. And don't forget his slapper!
He sounds like a good guy in the room too.

Both Diaz and Bourque need 10 days minimum. We won't have any updates unless they take a turn for the worse:

I hope Kaberle gets more time to prove himself, he makes our passing and transition game much stronger. We need Bourque back ASAP, no one forechecks like him.

Both Diaz and Bourque did not notice the concussions and did not rest immediately so they will be out for a while.

I miss Cole.

I have bad memories of watching Nokaleinen on the ice but he was on some weak lines.

Unless Moen drastically improves his effort level, I'd have no problem seeing:

White Noke Armstrong on the 4th line.
