Don't think that increases his trade value at all. Guess we'll be keeping him another game or two.

On second thought I'd rather not have firsthand knowledge.
Rather than a tear of the ligaments connecting the bones of the leg to the foot a high ankle sprain is a tear of the ligaments which stabilize and connect the two bones of the lower leg (tibia and fibula) above the level of the ankle. As you can imagine, a tear there is a pretty big problem and would take a long time rehab. Recovery can be 6-8 weeks if its not complicated or longer (12+ weeks) if the two bones separate significantly or there's an associated fracture.

Thank you. I can see now why it's so serious.

Sacco said EJ would be on the next road trip (after the game against Flames), Wilson won't.
Sacco said Wilson's injury makes it hard to put an estimated return on him.

Getting Wilson and EJ back will be key for us. With the way Barrie and Hejda have been playing we could finally have a decent Top 4.

If Sacco was smart, when EJ and Wilson returned he'd play EJ - Wilson and Barrie - Hejda around 22-24 Mins a night, and then the bottom pairing can rotate between Hunwick/Obyrne/Obrien/Zanon and play 12-16 mins a night.

I could see a potential trade coming soon again. 8 Dmen on the roster before long and Elliott in LEM. We should try to ship Obyrne out for a 3rd/4th round pick if we can.

The Hunwickian One will still lead in ice time.

We should've filed O'Reilly's brain as part of the injury report

TSN has Jones as questionable for Sundays game with lower body injury.

Knee again? Landeskog broke him?

I guess there's what one would call a "small chance". I don't personally think he will, but who knows.

That's what I'm thinking, but he will have practiced twice, so I'm hopeful. How many full practices did Landeskog have?

I didn't know he had already fully practiced yet, I thought he was just skating?

I think he practiced fully 3 days before his first game back, but I might be wrong.

Oh, I'm probably jumping the gun. I just assumed he was since he took part in the morning skate and is joining the road trip. Nevermind then..

He's gotta re-learn The Sacco System.

I think he's still a few weeks out.

If Jones is out there's even more reason to try Landeskog - O'reilly - Stastny

To stay on topic, if anyone actually attends the Avs practice this morning, an update would be GREAT. Would love to hear how ROR looked and if EJ and/or Wilson actually skated/practiced.
