Last year we picked up Bishop for a 2nd.
If we can trade him a year later for essentially a 1st is a win in my books.

Do it!

It sucks we can't just keep all 3 goalies lol. They're all great, both at hockey and as people. All 3 are just so likable. When we move Bishop I'll be sad to see him go. He seems like an amazing teammate. He's always smiling and laughing. Reminds me a lot of Spezza. Just a happy go lucky kid.

I don't see why bishop is the one that needs to be traded. If bishop, lehner and Anderson are all going to be number 1 goalies next year. O think it would be best for the team in the long run to trade Anderson at the deadline next year if**** nd its a big if****. Bishop and lehner both prove in the next 2 weeks that they are number 1s. Also Anderson would fetch more then bishop.

Why can't we run a lehner bishop combo. 1a. 1b

Cause Andy is the best. One has helped turn the franchise around and gives team unreal confidence, the second projects to be a strong backup, the last is a VERY promising goalie. Proving you are a #1 goalie takes a very long time.

When you have a guy that is hands down best goalie in the league right now, you don't trade him if its reasonable to think he can maintain it at least somewhat (top 3-5 goalie) which I think he will.

Its like if we traded EK last year at the deadline. Yea you could charge the moon, but you are going to get lesser pieces and not be as good in the end.

It would so much easier if they were all jackasses or something, but seeing Bishop being as positive as he is and Andy being such a leader, it's really hard to stomach the idea of trading either one of them. Not to mention there's a bit of a cult of personality behind Lehner (and his potential) that would see him getting traded to be a bummer as well.

I don't like Hemsky, Mainly because he's riddled with injuries over the past 4 plus years :/

If Hemsky didn't have the injury history I would make that trade in a second. But he does. So I wont.

As weird looking and terrible at scoring as he is, I'd hate to see the Sens trade Condra. He's basically the perfect third liner.

He would have to finish his checks more to be a perfect third liner. He only had 16 hits last year.

He has played well so far but at his age and with his limited upside, he is expendable.

Ya, we don't need another injury prone player. Although I wouldn't be opposed to acquiring Havlat.

Philly could use some better goaltending and they also need to free up some cap space. How about a deal around Bishop + for Hartnell or Simmonds or Voracek?

it would cost a lot for all 3 of those players. all 3 very good. more than just Bishop plus IMO.

Simmonds is the guy I'd want out of those 3. but would have to give something good back not just bishop and a second or anything Flyers need D.

We might be able to acquire one of them at a discounted rate because Philly will be well over the cap next year.

It would cost more than Bishop to acquire any of them, I just figured that it would be in Philly's interest to upgrade their goal tending.

I like simmonds the best. Don't actually know what we could offer besides bishop though.

Assuming they need D.

No he isnt ,he is always around the puck and makes smart plays with it ,I hope we extend him.He reminds me of the last player to wear number 22

Maybe a trade deadline deal of Bishop and Gonchar for Simmonds could work.

No way the Flyers trade Voracek or Simmons for Bishop. Those 2 will be Flyers for a long time. As for Brassard, can he play wing, or does he just play centre?

For a young big winger that scored they way he did last season ,we would have to add a lot

I think your right but I wouldn't like to see a D like Cowen get traded.

If we had to move Cowen I personally think it would have to be for a center.

Honestly I don't think that would do it, not trying to be difficult.
