It sucks we can't just keep all 3 goalies lol. They're all great, both at hockey and as people. All 3 are just so likable. When we move Bishop I'll be sad to see him go. He seems like an amazing teammate. He's always smiling and laughing. Reminds me a lot of Spezza. Just a happy go lucky kid.
I don't see why bishop is the one that needs to be traded. If bishop, lehner and Anderson are all going to be number 1 goalies next year. O think it would be best for the team in the long run to trade Anderson at the deadline next year if**** nd its a big if****. Bishop and lehner both prove in the next 2 weeks that they are number 1s. Also Anderson would fetch more then bishop.
Cause Andy is the best. One has helped turn the franchise around and gives team unreal confidence, the second projects to be a strong backup, the last is a VERY promising goalie. Proving you are a #1 goalie takes a very long time.
When you have a guy that is hands down best goalie in the league right now, you don't trade him if its reasonable to think he can maintain it at least somewhat (top 3-5 goalie) which I think he will.
Its like if we traded EK last year at the deadline. Yea you could charge the moon, but you are going to get lesser pieces and not be as good in the end.

It would so much easier if they were all jackasses or something, but seeing Bishop being as positive as he is and Andy being such a leader, it's really hard to stomach the idea of trading either one of them. Not to mention there's a bit of a cult of personality behind Lehner (and his potential) that would see him getting traded to be a bummer as well.
Philly could use some better goaltending and they also need to free up some cap space. How about a deal around Bishop + for Hartnell or Simmonds or Voracek?

it would cost a lot for all 3 of those players. all 3 very good. more than just Bishop plus IMO.
Simmonds is the guy I'd want out of those 3. but would have to give something good back not just bishop and a second or anything Flyers need D.
No way the Flyers trade Voracek or Simmons for Bishop. Those 2 will be Flyers for a long time. As for Brassard, can he play wing, or does he just play centre?
