Chicago had claim on Tom Sesisto

Didn't get him - went to Van

Translated:

Marc Antoine Godin ‏@MAGodin
Selon @DNFlyers, les #Habs et les Hawks auraient déposé une réclamation au ballottage pour Tom Sestito, mais VAN a pu le réclamer avant.

According DNFlyers @ the # Habs and Hawks have filed a claim for Tom Sestito on waivers, but the VAN could claim before.

This team will never win a waiver claim since they have the best record in the league by far. No surprise they lost. The waiver goes to the claiming team with the worst record.

Excuses, excuses. They got beat. Another team phsyically took away the player they wanted. They're all soft; managent, coaches, players. Pathetic.

I hope people know I'm joking. Just seems so perfect.

I thought waiver order was determined by a faceoff contest?

It is. But after the faceoff portion of the event is over, a hitting contest ensues. Kruger lost to an injured Ryan Kesler.

Dammit. If we could have held out a little longer, we would have creamed them in the swimsuit competition.

Please, don't remind us. I don't know how we missed that guy. Might be obvious, but is that the best pick-up (Trade/Signing/Waiver) in the history of the Canucks.. and, perhaps, the league?

Gotta commend Gillis on that.

So true. I'm tired of all the excuses too. This team hasn't been the same since we lost Big John Scott and daddy's boy Blowman needs to go.

Quite the thread. The mixture of ignorance, sarcasm and the odd serious post is quite entertaining to read.
