How is Brett Lebda already a -5 with Bingo on only 11 games played??? (he's -17 overall, but I'm ignoring the -12 he got playing in Rockford)

He's already tied for the 2nd worst +/- on the team. Jesus.

Saw some of it on the Rogers broadcast. If that the usual AHL video quality?

I didn't see what you saw but it's probably the same type of broadcast here in Bingo when we have our tv games..I would guess 95% of AHL teams do not have HD cameras for obvious budget $$'s and we are no exception..

It is what it is, life in the minors..

Also, Utica deal not gonna happen..

It appears that there's a group of promoters, lead by former Flyers goaltender and Utica-area native Robert Esche, who is exploring options with several NHL teams to locate an AHL team in Utica. They think Calgary is the most promising, because their affiliate (Abbotsford Heat) has been a perennial money loser, it is isolated as the only AHL team in its time zone, its attendance is adversely impacted by its close proximity to Vancouver, and it has horrendous scheduling and travel issues.

We’ve concluded that what is now happening is the promoters are talking up the concept with the hope of attracting investors. The O-D article mentioned something about "seeking public funding" for improvements to the Aud.

Well, good luck with that. Practically every public agency in the area is broke, and likely they would be run out of town on a rail if they spent money on a hockey team right now. It's unimaginable to see the county shortchanging the road maintenance to spiff-up the Aud's locker rooms and seats, or to spend hundreds of thousands to install a video board, which would be a requirement to support AHL Live broadcasts.

A money losing sports team in Abbotsford? You don't say...

Only every single person in the Lower Mainland could have seen that coming!

Definitely looked a little rusty, had a few nice takeaways, probably needs a few games to get back into it.

He looked like he was skating better, must have been working with Powers while he was here in Ottawa.

Biggest concern I can see, when the play changes direction he is just unable to make the adjustments.

Hopeful Powers can continue to work his magic with Stone.

It wasn't bad on Rogers 22, similar to the quality of what you get for most OHL games.
