Lecavalier vs Iginla in the finals was one of my all time faves in terms of sending messages. Not really relevant here, nor was it a truly epic fight in terms of even punches etc. but cool to see

Anything with Callahan involved would be interesting.

Getzlaf vs Pheanuf, they never got along.

Getzlaf Thornton 2 would be pretty sick too.

Crosby giroux is always fun, anyone vs dustin brown would be a +

It would be the most uneven matchup (capt vs capt), no reason other than that.

Crosby vs ovechkin.

Giroux is too short to expect a good fight from him.

Weber vs. everyone.

Weber's playoff beard will instantly grow and consume the weaker captains while his fists crush the stronger ones.

Well we did already see Thornton and Toews go at it recently.

Jumbo Joe and Getzlaf are about the same height, but Getz is a bit outsized.

Toews would be a bit better matched up against Vinny or Eric Staal.

Crosby-Callahan would be a good one in the playoffs.

Ovechkin has that caveman strength and about 2 inches 20lbs on Crosby.

For as strong as Crosby's legs are, I think Ovie wins that one.

You do realize Koivu fought quite a bit when he was younger, right?

The only Captains that could give Thornton a run for his money are Weber and Chara.
I would say Iginla, Backes, Staal, Ladd and Phanuef would be good bouts but I'd put my money on Jumbo everyday. We already know what happened with Getzlaf

Now if Lindros came back that's a different story.

But then he would get knocked out in the second fight.
