Come on everytime a player lays on the ice a major is given out. It used to take a lot to get a major now it seems any big hit has a major accompanying it

I thought the contact was fine. Didnt look like the head was the principle point of contacts meaning I don't think he targeted the head, but he did obviously leave his feet. I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 games for z.

That said, I don't agree with the game misconduct, the major I could see, but not the misconduct.

After the replay, probably a good call. Charging calls are very tough because they generally happen with so much force that the player is going to be airborne no matter what

People do realize that when you have speed your momentum automatically sends you slightly in the air, right? When you make contact you're gonna go into the air, too.

I didn't see him leave his feet except for an inch maybe, but I'm watching a stream so I don't have the best quality.

Yes, hitting someone in the head is a clean hit and possibly leaving your feet. I concur!!

Was going to say this. I still play hockey in college and when youre going to lay someone out with his head down, as you accelerate into him, you get lifted up, simple physics

The follow thru brought him up, watch again, on contact his feet are on ice from the angles I've seen and bringing his shoulder up to make the hit his body follows. You slow down most hits in the league the same thing happens.

I say it was VERY clean.

I do agree Harry didn't leave his feet, but he hit him in the head, yes it was accidental as the guy moved his head in to that position, but it's still a head shot.

Obviously, anyone who's plate hockey knows this.

I've played for 18 years. That said, at replay, he left his feet prior to the hit. It's easy to tell on replay whether you left your feet prior or after contact, in this case he left his feet prior.

You're taught as a peewee to not skate across the middle and admire your pass. Awful hockey by the Sens player there.
