Only a one year deal. I though if Clarke really wanted to keep the guy he'd lock him up long term.

I find it strange that Clarke would only go for a 1yr deal. Strange. It just makes sense to atleast tap him down for 2 years. In the 3rd year he has arbitration rights so it's a little bit different.

i think clarke has been clever here. he can either sucker comrie into a sweet deal while the CBA negotiations last OR if whatever the outcome of the CBA he will have a RFA player that is very young and very talented that he could deal to teams that need future and get veteran prescence back.
