Both of these prospects look to be on their way out if Pouliot wins the last forward position for the Wild.

Foy, most of you know him...Hasn't reached his potential yet. Reitz is a hard hitting but undersized defenseman that has yet to hit his potential.

I'll take Foy in Toronto. I played summer hockey with him the last few summers.

Who was the poster who used to pimp Foy to no end several years ago?

I don't know if that was intentional, but that was pretty funny.

Haha. Oops.

That's right, you used to pimp him up. I would never have even heard of Foy if it weren't for you.

It's all good, though.

Matt Foy's always interested me, might be worth a mid rounder to get in your organization...

Ditto

I think he would be best off in Montreal though, where he could play with his friend Corey Locke

I like Matt Foy a lot..

big kid, with great wheels. He will get it. He's gonna be a good/solid NHL player.

Wild have no interest in dealing him, it's why they signed him.

He's more nhl ready then pouliot right now.

Foy was my favorite player in AHL Houston this season. Always played with hustle and heart every single shift. He'll never be a great player in the NHL, but he's one of those hard-working guys that every team loves to have on the bottom two lines.

I honestly think it might be better for the Wild to let Pouliot play in the AHL a year. I don't expect him to be there longer than one season, but it would be great for his development, much like playing for the Aeros was good for rookies O'Sullivan and Voloshenko this season.

Reitz comes as advertised. Also a heart-and-grit type player who'll be a good depth guy in the NHL. I wouldn't be surprised to see him going up and down from the NHL to the AHL a lot this year.

I think the problem is, both of them will have to go through waivers to make it to Houston, hence why they need to be dealt.

That's news to me. What exactly is the waiver rule?

If they clears waivers, I'd be interested in them for the Hamilton Bulldogs. Foy could play with Locke and Kostisyn and Reitz would improve our minor league d-man depth, that IMO needs improving.

Have you confirmed this? I believe both are exempt from waivers still.

He had 150 points in the OHL and you had never heard of him? I will take him on the sens for sure, what do you want?

Going from the cap floor, to the cap ceiling and considering injuries do happen, I'd say that these guys are still pretty valuable to this team. Definitely worth more to us than a mid round pick and such.
