Put it on the main board...Its closer then you think..
Besides being one of the best faceoff guys in the league and drawing the best defensive coverage every night to take pressure off the seconday scorers. Meanwhile, Couture is the one who faces the weaker competition while putting up 20 less points.

Jason Spezza is a career PPG player, there aren't many nights when he's not scoring...

For that reason, I think Condra is expendable at the trade deadline to make room for Stone.
Do you understand how valuable players like Condra are to the overall depth of a team? They play in all-situations and can create offense with outstanding PK abilities and depth scoring.

He has easily been our most consistent forward ALL YEAR. Yet you are so eager to get ride of him for some rookies.

Wow.

It's just a handful of people. Not many. Most appreciate the strides he's made in his game and understand how poor we do without him.

I also get frustrated when people have a different opinion than mine.

Same could be said about people who whine about the refs.

If we were offered up Spezza for a top 3 pick this year and a top 4 defender I'd consider it hard.

Wow.
People used to say the same thing about Kelly & we replaced him. While he is a smart player & good defensively, he doesn't score enough, he isn't big enough & he isn't tough enough. I would much rather have Stone on that line to create more scoring from our third line. Our most consistent forward all yr this yr doesn't mean much but there are a few others that I would get rid of before him, I have a list.

We replaced Kelly cause we were rebuilding and could get good value back. If we can trade Condra for a 2nd I'd do it.

Also, Condra is tough, just cause he doesn't hit doesn't mean he isn't tough. He can handle physical play and is very, very smart with the puck which I would take any day of the week over a guy who is bigger than him and can hit without hockey sense.

Then I wouldn't want to deal our franchise center.

But Stone is considered to have a very high hockey IQ. Luke had him playing on the 3rd line in Bingo to defend against the other team's best lines to help make Stone a much better defender & we all know he can score. There are four right wing positions, Alfredsson has one, Neil has one & Michalek, Silfverberg & Zibanejad can all play either left or right wing. There seems to be too many players & not enough positions. Stone may be a rookie but I doubt he plays another yr in Bingo but we'll see. Condra is a good guy but I don't think there will be room for him but he is still an RFA so we'll see.

Just saw the hit on Phillips & loved what I saw from Alfredsson, unfortunately hated the response from the rest of the team.

There are 30 teams who want to add forwards and no one willing to give them up. Who do you have in mind?

Just get Brassard. Brassard with Michalek would be a very significant increase to our top 6.
