Kuemper vs Hackett

I thought Hackett was next in line in Minnesota. But Kuemper is up right now instead of Hackett.
Has Kuemper passed Hackett on the depth chart?

Kuemper was on a tear in the AHL(2nd in league in Save percentage and 3rd in GAA), and had over taken Hackett for the time being in Houston because of it. So he got the call when Harding went out. Oddly enough, as soon as Kuemper left Hackett has been lights out for Houston.

Reality of the matter is that its anyone's guess who will eventually claim the reigns of future Wild starter. When Kuemper eventually goes down, I imagine they will split starts 50/50. Heck it could even be Jonas Gustaffson who is the future for the Wild(playing very well in the SEL).

I've always been in the Kuemper camp, because who doesn't love a 6'5" goalie.

Kuemper, Hackett and Johan Gustafsson... Pretty incredible depth in goalie prospect department. Gustafsson is pretty underrated and might end up as best of them.

The Wild's future #1 goalie spot is pretty much up for grabs between Hackett, Kuemper, and Gustafsson. They all have a pretty legit chance of winning the spot.
