I'm 50/50 on jersey fouls. I own plenty, my CCM Claude Lemieux Devils jersey has the NHL 2000 patch on it even though the jerseys were made by Pro Player when the league had those patches. My Bobby Orr 1972 throwback has the name on it not just the number. My Pro Player Adam Foote has the 2001 ASG patch on it, even though the jerseys were CCM in 2001.
But they don't bother me. It's really to each his own. I wouldn't do a super jersey foul though, like a player in a jersey he's never worn. Or MY name on a jersey.

I think so but then again like I said, to each his own. If it doesn't bother you that's great, more power to ya. Dont let anyone else dictate what you should and shouldnt like or wear. BTW...Last time I was there they had Deadmarsh too.
Frankly I'm a bit surprised the Avs went the Edge route with throwbacks instead of getting Reebok to make up some in the old style. I'd love to be able to walk into Pepsi Center and find an Authentic Throwback Sakic since I'm having trouble finding one online.

Thanks guys, I am totally in love with the MoDo and here's a dancing pickle and a dancing banana to prove it. We need a jersey emoticon. I think the real challenge is finding a player who shares your last name and getting his jersey...especially when that player plays for your team. -- If only the Avs had signed Joey Crabb this past summer. Maybe the Preds will sign him this July. I could do a Preds jersey.

I gotta admit my friend and I seriously contemplated buying 2 jerseys with custom "WHOEVER" and "ANYONE" on them.
I am against jersey foul jerseys. It might take a year to find that perfect blank or jersey customized right on ebay that is new or near new, but it's better than to wear a jersey foul imho. Sure you can get a sakic or foppa in the edge because they did wear them (foppa wore them for 2 or 3 games and jay got the one he was supposed to wear in his home debut) , but wouldn't it be a lot better to get a sakic or foppa in the old ccm/koho jerseys with a 2001 stanley cup patch?

Curious where did you get that Modo jersey? Are they available on the net?
Ebay. They turn up from time to time. Sizing is weird, though. Mine is a size "7" which equates to about an XL/XXL. Larger than I'd normally get, but I figured the rarity combined with my impatience - worst case scenario I could have it taken in a little. A hoodie underneath helps me fill it out, too. Also, got a white one from 2005 I had to return to the seller a few months back. Fit more like a shirt than a jersey and I didn't like it.
Along the lines of jersey fouls---if you do find a listing, be sure to do your image/pic research to make sure the player you want actually wore the style being listed. MoDo changes their jerseys every year or two it seems.
Beat me to it, Brick. He did, and not a bad run at the playoffs that year, either. Something like 14 points in the 11 games he played in the regular season, then helped us get our last playoff series win. I'd say a Forsberg Edge is legit.
Has anyone ever bought a European club jersey from the clubs directly and had it shipped to the USA? I'm thinking about doing a Landeskog Djurgardens or Duchene Frolunda Jersey from the lockout but I don't know the quality of SEL jerseys or if there are any troubles getting them shipped from Sweden to the USA.

It could also be a mistake being that he just changed his number. Unless it's for the specific time frame like 62 Stastny jerseys. It is going to be so weird seeing him out there with #90 on.
