My question for him...

Is Maxwell a two way player? Can he throw his body or he's a one dimensional offensive player?

On that one, I think there is at least room for hope. You couldn't say Maxwell *IS* (present tense) a two-way player, but I thought he showed some jam in the WU-18 and gave a decent two-way effort, threw his body around once in a while. Moreso than the scouting reports seemed to indicate he did in the WHL, anyway. So I'm personally not seeing him as just a one-dimensional offensive player on that basis. (And of course, TT would undoubtedly say something positive on that score anyway just to be PC with his player.) FWIW.

Does player height is important for 18 years prospects and does scouting staff around the league try to guess the possible growing spurt of those prospect?
If yes who was the guy that he drafted that had the biggest growing spurt since drafted?

some like a stupid question but I do beleive that scout look for that my case:
Korneev was small but I remember Timmins stating that he had a 6'4 father and that he could stil grow.
it's also important because if the habs draft a 5'9 player and he grow over 6'0 in 2 years it could really help is development.
I would appreciate if this question was asked that's for sure.

sent these in amongst others

How is the organization going to address the apparent lack of QMJHL coverage in the scouting department?

Given the new CBA and the fact that teams can no longer hang on to European prospects as before, will there be a shift towards signing younger players, as was the case this year with many USHSL players getting drafted? Does this affect the organizations philosophy?

here is my question

Do you think Andrei Kostitsyn is ready for the NHL from what you've seen at the end of last season !? I know he has a terrific shot and I'm very high on his capacity to became a good top 6 foward

What does the organization think is Emelins potential. Are the Habs high on him?

It's on right now...

So far they talked about Fisher, how going to college will help with his strength development. Preferred him to Wishart because of his offensive potential.

Trevor Timmins about Ben Maxwell:

"His brother is a basketball player, he's like 6'8"..."

Let's pray for a late growth spurt!

He thinks Andrei Kostsitsyn lost a year of development where he should have played in Medicine Hat but stayed in Russia because of the lockout. Made his english and north-american learning slower.

Trevor Timmins laugh at the questions about the QMJHL scouting.

Thinks Grabovsky has a chance. The fact that he's not affraid to get his nose dirty is a pro but not knowing the language and style is a con.

they talk about Grabovski coming to NA and he said he will have to adapt his game and learn the language to be in the lineup .

Says Guillaume has been training with the Habs strength coach. Says that physically he is ready to play at the NHL level.

Kyle C after playing 7 games in Hamilton was one of their best players. Might be ready for the NHL but will have to beat out a vet in training camp & preseason.

Carey Price, battled through adversity missing the WJC team. He's moved down to Calgary and is doing strength training and working with a goalie coach. Glad board fans picked up on the fact that CP was wearing the smaller NHL pads.

Grabovsky is closer to the NHL than most know. His gritty style will help, but hinges on ability to learn english and understand the coaches and other players.

It probably will be. All of HFRadio's major guests have had their interviews podcasted. It could be a couple days though.

Ive a feeling Tender will make the team as 14th foward... Kost and Grabov will have a fun time with the Bulldogs dominating the league.. Ribs, Ryder and Bonk gone next year, Kost, Grabov and Chipchu in.

That would be as stupid a decision as they could ever make. Keeping a 19 year old as a 14th forward is pretty much wasting development time.
