Eh boys, why not look at the sunny side of that game...

Habs scored 6 goals

They have not lost in regulation since a long while.

Gionta scored twice.

Going into Boston, I wouldn't change a thing.

I think Therrien has what it takes to whip up the boys and get them pumped again. This is a good team, and they can be much better than what we saw tonight.

I take it Price's:
.924 sv%
1.90 GAA
isn't going to look as sexy once tonight's stats are added in.

Yea Mtl will beat BOS 3-1 tmrw.

Gionta will continue to play well and score and Yannick (Boston Broons Killer) Weber will score a goal...somehow

I don't hate Price, but those ****ing soft goals from on his right side need to stop. That guy in Ottawa, one of Ryder's playoff goals against us, and today were all that same ****ing ****.

I'm willing to give him the 3 games to fit into the system and back in MTL. Guy has to be very exhausted.

I would too.. Just put him on very short leash but I'd expect a very good game from him if he plays. I'm more concerned with the Habs getting shutout tomorrow after scoring 6 goals tonight.

I feel like Cole would've scored one or two tonight. Ryder was bad but he's new, and as natey said, he's probably exhausted over the past 4 days.

I'd probably give the game to Budaj and hope that the team can give Price a solid effort against the Isles this week to help him with his confidence.

Either way, I've been entertained every game this year except the two losses versus Toronto. This game was a wild ride and it was fun. Sucks that we lost, but it was fun.

On a bright side? Gionta has 3 goals in this last two games. Not that any of the three were great goals, but hopefully it gets him going a little.

agreed...

on the one hand, it is never a good idea to read too much into any one game...

on the other hand, it's a game vs the Bruins...

win or lose, if the team comes out tomorrow and competes hard, it will reflect very well on both the job MT is doing and the resiliency in this group.

if we come out flat and don't battle hard, while the excuses will be plenty, it will point to the team being "who we thought they were" and a good sign that expectations need to be tempered despite the impressive start & current streak.

With how they show the goals in slow motion, it's going to be an episode and a half just for the goals.
