Price needs a game off, he's been shaky all weak. Pacioretty looked like a turnstile on the OT goal, brutal. Bad defensive play but Price just didn't make the key saves.

I honestly saw this as a 6-5 game before it even started(honestly) I was off by a couple goals. The first goal on him was a lucky break for Pittsburgh and he seemed to play differently after that. We obviously don't sit back and trap like we used to and sometimes, especially against a high powered offence like tonight it burned us.

we played into pittsburghs hand tonight...we didn`t play our system...there were bits and pieces of it, but every body looked like the adrenaline was so high that it just couldn`t be contained...we could have just as easily came out on top but thats the way she goes....it hurts only because of the emotion that we devoted to it...the pulled us in and we had our hearts broken...but in reality it was two wild..wild teams just swinging ****in axes at each other....we should be about as worried as pens fans are right now....how worried do u think they are

We're 7-0-3 in the last 10 games....we are, with Chicago, the ony teams to get points in all of our last 10 games.

When the Pens took the lead 4-2....Therrien initiate plan B.
Which is open up the game to get back in the game.

Plekanec wasn't match against Crosby anymore....Therrien went all-in!

Bot opening the game against Pitsburgh it's a dangerous thing....plus we play against Mr. 34 points in 22 games Crosby!!!

Price sucks but....it happens!! And it will happen again!
Same for evey goalies in the league.

Only thing bothering me.....Gallagher-DD-Pacioretty are a great line, but on the powerplay they struggle a lot....would like to see Galchenyuk on the PP!!

I saw many weak goals and I saw many lost chances, if that isn't a problem with the offense than nothing is. Also the PP was pretty **** and Subban being selfish is a big reason for that.

I would tell you to jump on a bandwagon but you have been on and off so many you probably have springs in your shoes like inspector gadget.

Price has been pretty disapointing this year. I know the numbers aren't bad, but our D has been pretty good, and he's let in more ugly ones than good ones he's taken away...

We got a point, but I'm pretty sure this is not a win. I said we deserved to win every game since the leafs 6-0 loss. Do you disagree with that?

Everyone. It was like watching an episode of "The Walking Dead". If there was a live body wearing blue, they were ripping flesh. Eating their own.

Just like here.

I dont think that I have seen one "**** You Crosby" on this thread.

Lots of Price sucks but not much anger against the Pens.

You need to realize that Chuckie hasn't been stellar lately and Therrien has this thing called 'being accountable'. And it's working pretty good these days. I'm not saying the kid is playing really bad, but he's not very stellar to say the least. He's very tentative with the puck in his zone and in the neutral zone. So the coach is kind of protecting him a bit, because the kid's confidence seems shot a bit. You don't play him more in these conditions because it could get worse very fast. You protect him. Give him time.

I woud like to see a MaxPac-DD-Ryder line. Gallagher can play with Plekky or Eller. Too bad Bourque is injured and Cole is gone, two bigger bodies.

Wow Darche can't stand Phaneuf. Phaneuf used to chirp him all the time when they played each other. Puts him the same category as Avery.

Why did CBC name Gionta named 2nd star? He was pretty bad even with him scoring twice. Seems he turns over the puck with regularity. Gallagher, Pacioretty, Eller, Desharnais were so much better.

Off topic, the woman with her iPhone tucked in her chest.

I would say that we deserved the loss against NYI...and maybe tonight too because the D was ...well...you know.

The thing with Price is he just seems too relaxed. It's his style I know but you gotta wonder, maybe he needs to drink a Redbull before the game.

Sometimes he goes through phases where he looks lazy. He hasn't really looked right in a week or 2. Other than the 2 games vs NYR where he was reasonably untested he hasn't looked good since his flu bug. Too bad because he looked great in the 1st, thought he was getting going.

This is one of those games that both teams will toss right into the garbage can and pretend it never happened.

You can't really analyze it because it just wont happen again this year. Its an anomaly.

I go back to Price on Sunday. He was not good, but neither was the defensive coverage around him. I expect him to rebound the way he almost always does after a bad outing, which is lights out.

You sit him down and make sure that he understands that if HE makes a mistake, To instantly forget about it... Keep your head high and work hard instantly after...

The kid would understand that in a heart beat and I am afraid therrien doesn't see that.

Why are people so afraid to step outside of the box.
