Could Thornton be a locker room cancer?

CJ caught everyone off guard by sitting Thornton and inserting Pandolfo to the 4th line. No reason was given which was strange. It made absoultey no sense.
Now yesterday and today Thornton's had to answer question after the question about the line-up change. Every beat writer on twitter is saying ST is visible upset and that this was brewing all year due to his decreasing ice time. We all know ST has a short, irish-like temper.

Anyone else think this illogical lineup change by CJ could have negative effects on the locker room?

He hasn't exactly been earning his ice time.

He's been turning it over, playing crappy both ways, and hasn't fought since his concussion. I don't blame him for not fighting, but what is he really doing for us right now?

It won't cause locker room problems. If he was, he'd be long gone by now.

No. Show some proof somewhere that anybody has ever intimated this, otherwise...*click*
