I honestly would welcome Komi back but Toronto would have to take Kaberle
That would be quite the home coming, but Komisarek is so far down the depth chart, I can't see us taking anyone in return. Kaberle would come in and be behind Liles, who isn't playing either.
nahh habs need more gritty forwards then anything else right now..
Prust is pretty lonely on this team... Habs aren't a physical team
but its always good to have a balance of Grit, Speed, Talent and
Size. right now we are lacking size and grit...
On the back end Tinordi is coming up from Hamilton next year so there really isn't
a reason to get a big defensemen this year.. And even if you do,
you'd need someone with grit and character, or else its worthless...
Bergevin wont trade for a big defensemen for only one year anyway...
Moen and Bourque are the 2 players that have to go..
both being 6'2'' over 220lbs. playing less physical then Gallagher and Gionta,
thats the problem..
Habs need players like Raffi Torres, Carcillo and Parros...
stack em on the 4th line. whenever you play toronto or bruins.

Bourque was playing plenty physical before he got injured.
We need to get Stoner from Minnesota. Tinordi could be brought up to work with Markov, but I would rather Tinordi get a little more seasoning and join us next season.
We do not need a forward with grit as mcuh as we need a big defenceman with some strength and fighting ability who can also play defence.
Stoner. That is the guy we need to target. I would also accept Carkner, to be fair.
He's not ass good as he once was but still knows how to throw good hits and his a solid 5/6 guy. He also has the nasty attitude you want but he does not fight
What would offer for Theo Peckham from the Oilers?
Probably far too much! Heck, we have a bunch of Oiler fans who think Eager and a 2nd is worth Eller, with some saying that they wouldn't even accept that kind of deal for Eager! Peckham would probably cost us a 1st or Pacioretty for flying monkey's sakes!
Not sure who goes out if we get a guy like Carkner... Emelin, Subban and Bouillon are plenty physical the problem is we have a very small D and Markov, Kaberle & Diaz are some of the softest blueliners in the league.
If Gorges and Bouillon were bigger we would be fine. The problem is they are extremely small and although they are not afraid of anyone, no one is afraid of them either.

There's plenty of posters like that for every fanbase. They exist everywhere and there's no benefit to drawing attention to the vocal minority. I mean remember when Ryder, Halak, and a 2nd would garner the return of ANY player in the league not named Crosby, Malkin, or Ovechkin?
If we can get a physical D-man for Weber or Kabs, I'd be down for that. Beyond that, Montreal is still in a retooling phase, and it would be smarter to wait for one of Tinordi or Pateryn (and to a lesser extent, Deitz and Thrower) to be ready for the big club.
