Nope. Because Poile is to gun shy on making any kind of a move.

Even more alarming the Oil have two games hand and could pass the Preds before we play them next Fri.

Honestly, I'd rather watch the "boring" Preds teams that just ground teams to death and relied to D and junk goals to take teams' souls.

Right now we aren't good at ANYTHING...and our D sucks just as bad as our O.

Our D is very overrated though. If not for Pekka, our D would be exposed

for sure. but our offense is in a league of its own. im not a big stats guy.. but last in goals per game and shots per game tells a pretty accurate story.

Our "top" offensive players remain MIA. Other than the Erat breakaway, I cannot think of a quality chance from them. Our bottom 3-6 forwards are generating chances, but, converting on far too few of them. The intent of putting the puck towards the net is there, but the execution is poor with far too many shot attempts going off a defender 30+ feet away from the net. Our PK is killing us with six goals allowed in the past three games.

It is still too early to write the season off, but, we're seeing a team that is far from a lock for post season play. We need to see more of the style of play from the OT win against the Wings or even the Stars game ... not what we've seen at Detroit, at Anaheim, or last nights game.

That's a pretty accurate statement. The other chance is Gaustad hit Sk with a great pass with the net open and Sk couldn't get a shot off. Fisher and Legwand and SK are the biggest problems because we don't have anybody on the roster to replace them. All three play good defense. All three don't create enough offense.

Lost among the suckage, does anyone else have a problem with the goon of all goons, brad stuart with what looked to me like a head shot that took Yippers out? Will Mr. Shannan be checking this out?

I thought it was another high elbow from Stuart. You know, they're standing there then all of a sudden Yip is falling down in a heap on the ice? Get real. Stuart is a cheap shot artist. Nothing will happen though.

First post and already working on a GDT? I'm impressed

Unless yours has to be against the Kigns, I'll take the LA game, and once we lose next, you're up. Deal?

Yeah, I like to come out strong!! Unlike our team.

That's cool; you get this one, and I will work on the game with Edmonton.

GDT is on the way, hold on. It's taking some effort. Expect it before lunch time.
