This post from the Main boards fills me with a mean-spirited happiness (not towards the devils but towards Zids)

I am certainly not laughing at this.

Definitely not thinking "Told ya so!"

Absolutely not gloating about dumping him and gaining Parise.

Nope.

I tune into Devils games just because Zid is worth at least one good laugh moment a game.

warms my heart.

Also Havlat. with all the Heatley hate going on around here...Heater has one more goal than Havlat has points.
And Havlat has an extra year on his contract. (which was IMO one of the major considerations in making the trade).

Slightly good news. This might be the one time I would hope he feels good, just so he can play in this game and get pummeled. Knowing the physicality of the Wild so far however, he'll probably never even be touched.

I can see the refs looking for "retribution" type late hits so we better be careful out there. I think the benefit of the doubt will go toward hall and stuff they might think was inadvertent or normal post whistle jostling might get called harder just to keep things under control.

Hmmm Oilers GDT title "Oilers vs Boring Team" http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=1365329

This coming from the fans of the team that has had the first overall pick in the draft the last three years. Can't wait to be out of the Northwest division.

I've come to expect that kind of class from that fanbase.

If anything it is really lazy, sad, and pathetic. The Wild on a regular basis beat the Oilers and their fans hate it because they think that the Oilers are a far superior team. So to compensate for it the call the Wild boring and whine about. Pretty much they want the Wild to lay down and let their ten first first overall picks score 20 goals.

It is really funny after so many Oilers fans and media members were saying how exciting and good they were going to be this season, and they aren't exactly lighting it up either. And really how exciting must they be if they continually finish in the bottom of the NHL standings year after year?

In their defense, we have been pretty boring this year. We just don't notice it due to our love of the team.

Once our scoring starts up (hopefully soon) we should be a more entertaining team.

I know that the Wild aren't on the level of excitement the the Canadiens and Penguins played last night but I have been entertained throughout the season with the Wild. But to each their own. But the way the Oilers cry about it becomes quite obnoxious imo.

True, I have noticed they cry about it a lot more than most other teams.

Maybe it's just me but i wasn't excited by Vocoun consistently giving up goal after goal on very stoppable shots. I found that 3rd period almost unwatchable the defense and goaltending was so bad.
