Napoli drop points again (scoreless draw away to Udinese) and Juve go 6 points adrift. Lazio will probably reclaim 3rd place after today but don't think they can hold on to it.

Napoli host Juventus next week, luckily for Juve they pretty much have their CL tie wrapped up so they can concentrate fully on the league match. Also next week is Milan-Lazio for control of 3rd place

I think Juve is going to clinch the league.

The main battle will be for the third place spot.

Milan is firing fast up the ranks to take it over, but they have bad news tomorrow... Balotelli will miss the clash with 3rd place Lazio. If Milan win they jump into third.

Milan, like them or not they are one of the more exciting teams in the last 4 months. They are gonna be a scary team for the the rest of the season, next year and further into the future.

UP Front.. Niang(18), Shaarawy(20), Balotelli(22), Hachim Mastour-Trequartista (15)

Mid.. Boateng-Trequartista (25), Montolivo(28

Back.. Abate(26), De Sciligo(19)

It sucks that one of Palermo/Genoa are going down. Or maybe both

The Italians just don't get it. Instead of punishing these clubs, they should be doing what the English do, reward a club with racist and violent fans with a new, public funded, 60,000-seat stadium.

Javier Zanetti's career abruptly over after he injured his achilles tendon today?

Fiorentina have at least temporarily overtaken Milan for the 3rd spot and CL football. Right now, Milan are struggling to beat Catania at tonight's late game.

What a character this guy is, incredible.

I love Zanetti. One of my fav all time.

Juve pretty much secure a 2nd scudetto in a row. Their next objective should be the champions league and bringing in Llorente won't make them a CL contender.

Without looking too hard (didn't buy Gazzetta at the time) couldn't find anything more recent, so here are Serie A top ratings from February (apparently from Gazzetta).

6,67 Totti (Roma)
6,56 D. Pizarro (Fiorentina)
6,48 Borja Valero (Fiorentina)
6,44 El Shaarawy (Milan), Hamsik (Napoli)
6,42 Marchisio (Juventus)
6,39 Cavani (Napoli)
6,38 Handanovic (Inter)
6,36 Sau (Cagliari), Marchetti (Lazio)
6,35 Pogba (Juventus), Cuadrado (Fiorentina)
6,34 Pirlo (Juventus)
6,33 Cerci (Torino)

http://football-ratings.blogspot.fi/...layers_27.html

While I agree with most, and while Totti has exceeded all the expectations at his age, whenever I've seen Roma, I've been awestruck by Lamela. He is absolutely great, for example, were Spurs to sell Bale and sign him as a replacement, I don't think they'll miss a beat.

I haven't seen Sau a lot, but others on the list have been doing well for sure. Here's another take on "Team of the season" from January.

Consigli
De Sciglio
Ranocchia
Chiellini
Asamoah
Vidal
Pirlo
Hamsik
Totti
Cavani
El Shaarawy

http://www.football-italia.net/29288...season-so-far…

Not too many changes since, I'd pick Vidal as my player of the season in Serie A.

Lazio is putting quite a beatdown on Bolgna. It is 6-0 with a few minutes to go.

Miroslav Klose had 5 goals before he was substituted for Saha after 68 minutes.
