Anyways, rant over.
The best description I have heard of him is that "he is like a fast moving shadow...just when you think you have him...he has disappeared..."

I beleive it was by Emerick...

BTW, has Snow not had the pleasure of facing Ovechkin...

PS. The avatar is Radulov, isn't it...

Nah he aint no Jagr... he's DA KOMMANDER!!!!!!

Seriously, Kovy has mad skills.... Skill wise, he's not far off from a Jagr... I just think he has more off nights... Consistency has been an issue since those monster years in Pittsburgh.

I still think he's a great Hab... I would take him over many simply because he's so ****ing electrifying... Easily one of the most talented players in the league, and when he's going, he alone is worth the price of admission

A couple more you might like:

From Harry Neale last year: "Alex Kovalev is the type of stickhandler who could enter a revolving door behind you and exit it in front of you"

One from years ago when he was with the Pens, i don't know who said it but i think it was someone on ESPN: "Alex Kovalev could stickhandle around you in a phone booth and pick your pocket at the same time. But he'd give you your wallet back, because he's a nice guy"

I also remember someone on here posted a comment, I think it was another from Harry Neale, when the Habs played the Bruins last year and Kovy made a fancy move: "Alex Kovalev just emptied the skill bucket"

Seems he's a good guy to create a quote for

Kovalev (1 for 4) is no satan in shootouts (satan was 7 for 10)..... I bet any goalie fears Satan more than they fear kovalev
