Personally thinking not making the playoffs, but not bottom 5.

Threw him in before the poll got too far, I must have messed up in 2004.

Probably the worst team in the league. No scoring whatsoever.

Should make an all-time last round draft roster.

Good goaltending, good wingers. Weak D, very weak centers. Should be worse than Columbus, but not quite the expansion Senators or Capitals.

I think it would depend on the coach and the resulting system they play. I think under a guy like Trotz or Tippett they could compete for a playoff spot (but probably fall short), but they would have the worst offense in the league by a mile.

Needs more Winnik, Demers, Braun, Lindback, Della-Rovere, etc.

And Winnik replaces who? The only wishy washy pick on the roster over who you listed is Glass.

Also, Lindback or Elliot... Doesn't matter too much at this point.

If Craig Adams is your 2nd line centre you're not winning many games. Wasn't Pavelski drafted in the last round? Joe Vitale was drafted in the 7th round, doesn't provide much offense but he's not a complete blackhole like Adams.

Pavelski was drafted in the 7th round back when there were 9 rounds.

This team doesn't make the playoffs...unless they are either coached really well or get pretty darn lucky.

Ah I forgot that was when the draft was still 9 rounds, if he was added to that team and they had the right coach and system I could see them pushing for one of the last playoff spots.

Goaltending keeps them from being a complete disaster but man that'd be a tough team to watch, they'd be lucky to score 1.5 goals a game.

If this was say from Round 7 or later(since that's the last round now) then this would be a lot more interesting.

Rinne in net alone would make the team a borderline playoff team IMO.

If you take my idea, from the 03 and 04 drafts alone you would add the following players to that roster:

Brouwer
Enstrom
Byfuglien
Hunwick
Rinne

Enstrom - Byfuglien
Gunnarson - Streit
Hunwick - Erricsson

Rinne

That D core and Rinne in net makes the team a playoff contender.

Who would of thought that a goalie drafted in the last round would become the top 3 goaltender in the world

Would be interesting to see a current list of rosters by round, as well as an alltime (ie, team of only 1st rounders, tem of only 2nd rounders, etc)
