We need to some how convince chicago to do a Krejci for Kane swap.

Marchand-seguin-Kane line for the next decade would be unreal

My point is that when a team has 41 out of a possible 44 points, that's going to be a tough team to beat regardless of what your team is built on.

If the 2 Blackhawk goalies continue to play at a Hasek level I don't think anyone beats them this year, however I for one don't believe for a second that these guys are suddenly that good, they will eventually remember who they are.

Yea no doubt. Chicago is playing great hockey, but not lights out.. I have seen a number of there games and they have been lucky to pull out some of those wins. As the other poster said our power game could give them problems. I'd say it would give them problems.. If this Chicago team had played teams from the Eastern Conference they wouldn't be undefeated right now.

The Chicago team that won the Cup a few years ago was the only team I've seen in recent memory that was good enough to pretty much have an on/off switch.

Keith (in Norris form) together with Campbell was an amazing combination. When the Hawks played hard no one could stay with them and the puck would hardly ever be in the Chicago zone.

That is probably true

But I think it is safe to say last year was sophmore slump for Crawford

If he can play 2010/11 level the Hawks are in very good spot goaltending wise

I have watched a decent amount of their games too. Crawford is playing like he's on another planet right now. With his goaltending history, one would have to guess he is going to slow down. I just hope he slows down at the right point (the playoffs). Even if he does, they still have Emery whose stats are pretty good too. From what I have seen, they are doing pretty good at keeping shots to the outside. Maybe our power game can push the game into the slot to get better shots on. That is my guess on how to beat them.

You'd think that the NHL would market him because he's so incredibly talented and a U.S. born player but it seems to me that he doesn't get much attention and when he does it's often negative.

Campbell was weak link in Hawks top 4 that year

Seabrook-Keith was best 1-2 in NHL and Hammer basically covered for all of Campbell's defensive mistakes that year

Yea but as far as building a defense...When you have two guys that can skate like Keith and Campbell it's pretty special.

Leddy is progressing well filling the void since Campbell trade and is just as good a skater as Campbell (if not better)

Leddy IMO is already as good defensively as Campbell

Really a shame that Campbell contract was the thing that led to dismantling team. If only Tallon would have had green light to spend money that summer by Panthers ownership the Hawks might have been able to salvage some of the talent they had to dump

Antoine Roussel with another scrap and assist today. He's now playing with Roy and Cole. The kid has speed to burn. Would of looked good in our lineup instead of Pondolfo.

Who's to say they will even meet in the playoffs, regular season records mean ZERO when they start (playoffs)

Either way I like our chances if we meet.

And the Isles show how bad they are...cough up the lead in the last minute and 10 vs. Ottawa.
