Rob Tallas Signs One Day Contract With Florida
Love seeing this type of stuff, back in the show after twelve years
Florida Panthers @FlaPanthers
#FlaPanthers goalie coach Robb Tallas serving as backup to Clem (signed one day tryout) until @j_markstrom's pads arrive sometime tonight.
Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC
Tallas last played in Austria during 2004-05 season. Last NHL action: 2000-01 for Blackhawks.

Still not as bad as when the Caps had to let their DJ fill the backup role.

I like it for the Panthers. See if he has anything left in the tank and if not, it's only one day.

Tallas better be careful. If Clemmenson gets lit up, he'll have to go in, and if he also gets lit, he might get fired!
What good is a goalie coach that can't be a goalie?

What? He's there goalie coach. They're not trying to see if he has any left in the tank
I'm guessing you're joking.

Or he can get a shut out and play for the rest of the year, and win the cup. Disney movie style

All in all for a one day contract guy, this might be the best of all-time. There have been some seriously crappy one day backups before

Ironically, that had to do with a Theodore injury too.

Well, take the league minimum salary. Divide it by the number of days this season. Hell get paid that much.
