Got a new laptop. Upgraded in the video card with a Nvidia 635M 2GB card, Intel i5 3210M 2.5Ghz processor as well which is much improved from previous one. Got a solid deal from Vision Electronic, they seem desperate for business lol. Runs my Civ 5 much MUCH better than my 5 year old piece of **** laptop. Getting that one fixed anyways, it's gonna be my take everywhere and downloading laptop, gonna take care of my new one

So I'm trying this new Green Coffee Bean pill with Chlorogenic Acid to help me lose some weight. Apparently it's getting world wide acclaim. Has anyone else tried this, and if so, what were the results?

Hey guys I'm thinking of switching to Bell TV and I was wondering if they still offer the free Jets channel promotion on their "Better" package. I looked through the channels in that package but couldn't find the Jets channel in there.

I did find this however:
Quote:
Available to current Satellite TV residential customers in select dwellings in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nunavut and Northwest Territories, with an account in good standing, where access and technology permit. Subject to change without notice, other conditions apply.
From what I can make out from this blurb I fit the bill. I need to know if they include the HD channel for free as that's very important if I'm going to make the switch.

Thanks.

I honestly don't trust anything that needs a pitch over the radio, but that's just me.

Same as taking caffine pills, asprin and ephidrine. Old body builders trick, fools the body into speeding up the metabolisim if I am not mistaken.

Should work.

Random youtube videos, y u keep me up at night. Some classic Byfuglien from 1995! And they even pronounced it Bufflin back then too, so much for blaming Chicago for that.

Could this be another example of just how little the U.S. cares about hockey?

Was watching the Detroit / Chicago game on the weekend via the U.S. NBC feed ( Channel 202 NBC Seattle and/or 207 NBC Minneapolis on SHAW ) and while the game was in overtime, at exactly 2:00pm, both channels cut over to golf. Fortunately nobody score and the network cut back to hockey in time to show the shootout, but I can't imagine the uproar if CBC or TSN cut away from an overtime to show something else.

I don't think it's a lack of caring, but a strict adherence to their scheduling.

Yup, mentioned this in the Around The League thread. Odd that some people didn't experience this, but my Kare-11 (NBC Minneapolis) Shaw feed was interrupted. Pretty brutal.

You'd think NBC would've learned their lesson the first time.

Damn. I have to start running. Just weighed myself. I'm 180 pounds. And I doubt that I gained 30 pounds since September just by adding muscles+water.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to introduce myself and thought this would be the appropriate place to do it. I am currently living in Cambridge, ON but was born and raised in Winnipeg (for the first 25 years of my life) and went to a couple Jets 1.0 games at the old arena. I have a lot of spare time now since I am single again and thought that this would be ideal place to spend some of it...especially since most of the people around here are Leafs fans.

Cheers!

Anybody see 60 minutes on Sunday about the housing bubble in China? Making the bubble in the states look small by comparison potentially. The team did a great job covering the story.

That was a lot of snow to move. I had a friend come over to help shovel me out. We then shoveled out his truck, because he got it stuck trying to get into my lot.

So this new FHM game is great. I am a sucker for hockey sims and this has the potential to be the best of them. Only in beta but well worth the pre-order.

Some highlights of my season so far:

-Traded Brian Little + Wellwood + 2nd round pick for Krejci (Over-payment on my part)
-Started 5-0.
-Both Pavelec and Montoya were injured at the same time (different games).
-Traded for Ben Bishop for Aaron Gagnon, Maxime Marcenaur and a 2nd round 2014 pick (dump my unneeded players)
-Record dipped to 24-23-5
-Made a trade for Chris Stewart for Al Montoya and Jason Jaffray (lols)

I've been exploring it quite a bit as well, I'm also a sucker for hockey sims, but it is REALLY buggy right now. Gotta remember it's just a beta. I have the patience and can see the long term potential of this game, but for many people they will get upset at the buggyness right now. I suggest if you are bothered by crashes, mistakes and other things and are not willing to sit through and help the creators to wait until September to get it. This will be a GREAT game, but it is still early in development...

I just watched the video online. Wow that is just stunning. People thought the housing bubble bursting in the states was catastrophic, this is going to make that look like a 5 dollar bet.
