Mcgrattan ended up on top + threw more I believe. Nothing really landed.
Good on Sestito for sticking up to Mcgrattan, coming out unscathed is a small victory against him.

Mcgratton's a nut. Always liked that guy. Seems to have cleaned up his act a lot the last couple of years. Glad to see him back in the big leagues. Too bad there's not many heavies left to go with him.

easy win Mcgrattan

and they both started to chirp since the fight and you could hear Mcgrattan saying:

"Who's the toughest guy in the league? I'm the toughest guy in the league."

lol. love this guy

Scorecard from the judges:

5 / 7 , 6 / 7 , 6 / 8

McGratton with the victory, but it wasn't a major beatdown or anything.

Win to Mac.

Would love to hear these two goons chirping. Hopefully his trash talk was better than what he dished out to Richards.

Nice to have a guy on the Canucks thats at least willing to drop em with a guy like McGrattan.

McGrattan with the win, hes arguably the best fighter in the league. He also looked preety good tonight, a lot faster than I thought he was and had a couple of nice hits

it's a shame McGrattan got 10 for saluting the crowd, I understand them not wanting the things like throat slashing gestures or flipping the bird and things that, but what's wrong with saluting the crowd?

No kidding... Jagr anyone? I guess it's somewhat unsportsmanlike when you pummel/destroy your opponent?! ...

Pretty close. Thought Sistito landed the best punch (and split McGratton's lip) but Sistito slipped and McGratton got the take down and got in a couple of nookies.

Later in the game Sistito challenged McGratton but McGratton declined. Don't know if that said much however - other than the fact that Sistito didn't back off.

No idea why Vancouver wasted their time with Sestito.

Montréal could have had him. I cannot wait to see Bordeleau and McGrattan fight (hopefully it will happen).

Calgary vs. Colorado on March 27th.

Yeah Sestito is pretty useless at fighting even though he's 6'5.

Clear win for McGratton. Not a beat-down pummelling like some CGY fans in here suggest).

Hats of to Sestito who did some visible damage and stood his ground. That fight was essentially a draw right up til the end when McGratton got a few extra contacts in.

Its a badge of honour to go up against one of the best fighters in the league and end up with a close decision.

nobody said that. Their is a difference between beat-down and easy win. And this was a easy win for him. Mcgrattan was never in danger in that fight and was 100% in control. And Mcgrattan is better than Orr imo

Win for McGrattan, although I thought Sestito acquitted himself well. Surprised McGrattan got 10 for the salute - definitely not the first time a player has played it up to the crowd a bit after a fight.
