Yeah it must be some crazy coincidence that whatever line he plays on is our best line every night. Trade him! Not a top six center!

No, he sucks. Trade him for J. Jokinen. Or O. Jokinen. Don't matter.

He's looked much better of late, we need him to get hot after a slow start earlier this year. He's good on the second line with Callahan and Gaby, with Richards-Hags-Nash on the first.

If we can get consistent production from Stepan, a big IF, we'll win a lot of games

I think this will be a funny thread to bump in a few weeks, just my hunch.
Anyone who was watching the Rangers play knew that Stepan was playing well and creating chances. The turnaround was inevitable.

And I still think he's snakebitten.

No u guys have it all wrong. Someone here today said he's seen better players at his rec center. Trade him for a 6th or 7th rounder well informed poster shouted.

Any line with him is the best one out there.

I think we should trade him with Lundqvist to offset his negative, soft value.

Is he a #2 C yet?

Stepan was creating chances all year. They just happen to be ending in goals now. Sometimes you get the bounces, sometimes you don't but the skill and effort have been there from game 1.

Ill gladly eat crow on this one. I said to look to possibly trade him at the deadline earlier this year. But the kid has picked his game up a lot since then. I still hate his stride though, and think his skating needs a lot of work.

If he works harder on his skating, he'll be golden.

Although I remember that he has a skating coach, from watching his Beginnings. Hire another one? And take Brian Boyle with you.

Except Lundqvist is European, like Marian Gaborik, so he has to be soft too.

Stepan+Girardi for John Scott!

Great to see Stepan playing better. He is playing with swagger, which is when he's at his best.
