I'll preemptively state that he's far too short to be playing professional hockey and that he's useless because he can't fight other team's goons.

It takes courage to admit that we were wrong. I hope others will follow your example!

I personally thought Halak should have been kept instead of Price, when Jaro was traded. I also wished we got rid of Bourque last summer. I guess we all have to eat crows at some points.

Especially considering that out of 750 players, there are 168 who have a major penalty.
So we should throw away 632 players.
Last season, 328 players had a major penalty out of 894 players...
In Boston, Bergeon, Krejci, Seguin, Rolson, Peverley, Pouliot, Caron did not fight last season. All useless players.

BTW, as much as Desharnais has impressed me from last year (or even the year before) in tough games, I must admit that Gallagher seems to be even better. I knew what to expect from Desharnais but not this level of compete in NHL from BG.

Same.

A LOT of centers would look really good with Pacioretty and Gallagher as their wingers, but DD still has made it work as a line, so props to him.

Funny how people have a hard time giving him credit. If you ask any of Cole, Patch, Gallagher who they choose to be their center on the Habs, they would all say DD, cause he makes them better. Patch is great, but DD makes him better.

Actually, MaxPac said that Desharnais makes him better.
It was Desharnais who built MaxPac confidence in AHL... And he was no so bad with Cole.

What is most stupid is to hear these comments giving that we are paying him 850K per year.
Just looking at comparables.
In our team, Noky, White and Dumont have a lower SCap than him...

Between Moen and Desharnais at the same price, who do you choose?

To be honest, between Desharnais and Ryder, my choice is clear.
Gionta or Desharnais? Now Gionta is costing 6 times more...

It's a pleasure for me to eat crow. I didn't have confidence after his slow start, but playing bigger than the Big Bad Bruins made me believe in that Hobbit.

Props !

Nice screen on the Pacioretty goal.

I heard DD has fallen while getting out of bed. I mean... DD HAS FALLEN!

Kudos to him rebounding from a bad start to the year. Finally played as well as last year and didn't back down from anything last night

Cammalleri also wanted to play with DD.

We need DD to play well if this team is going to sustain it's current place in the standings.

I couldn't be happier that he is playing well of late.

Seems like people are realizing we should stop bickering and realize all our players are key to our success.

You are the ONLY person to post something negative in here so far, and twice.

You seem to be looking for negativity.

DD and Patch are the biggest reason why the team is doing so good right now.

Galchenyuk still has a lot to learn, normal when you come out of the OHL where you can do all the tricks you want and nobody can stop you. But he is learning how important positioning and physical play really is and that what's important is not the play you do but how fast can you do it.

For the time being DD shows his true leadership and remains our #1 C.
Next year we might have a situation where Galchenyuk centers our talent line (UFA openings? Collberg?), DD makes the hardworking offensively productive line and Plekanec centers a consistent reliable trio that will make up good denfensive presences and some good productive nights.

The good thing is that when a line is struggling during a game there's always another trio that picks up the pace and makes up for the other.

I was harsh on him early on and rightfully so, but I gotta admit that this week has really changed my views on him. He's playing very well! Good job DD!

On another note, I think Ryder might end up being a better fit on his right wing. Plecanek is more of a shoot first kind of center and Ryder needs a center who will find him. But the trio is doing really well right now so I guess we don't touch it at the moment.
