I've got GC Live, but still.

Looks like they're back now for the shootout.

Kane just trolls the shootout.

Can't figure out who's the bigger troll, Patty Kane or the bozo at NBC who cut the OT feed.

Obvi didn't happen to everyone, just certain areas.

A quick Twitter search of "NBC" showed quite a few upset individuals.

They cut it, but went back to the SO feed.

Maybe someone got the "WTF" message in the NBC Sports warroom

Stupid Chicago. If they win the president's trophy the best our pick we got from them can be is 56th. If they make it to the conference finals it'll get worse too

This MTL-Bruins game is WAR!

I'm respecting the Bruins toughness. Habs are just cheap, on almost every play, a cheap shot. But Boston getting all the retaliation calls against them

Not getting a single shot in a period is flat out embarrassing.

WOW. Have to wonder if they'll be picking #1 again

I'm 110% right now into the Bruins-Habs war. Boston falling apart a bit at home.

"Chara is a dirty rat player who goes after a much smaller player, who had facial reconstruction surgery and is one punch shy of having his career ended! I don't care about the cheap shot cross check that lead up to it, though."

Habs fans, ladies and gentlemen.

This is what happens when you build a bunch of individuals and not a real team. Ownership on down is a real mess over there. Until the clear cut the old boys club, that organization is going nowhere no matter how much individual talent they assemble. There is a reason nobody wants to go there and it has absolutely nothing to do with the weather.

Edmonton is the reason I snicker whenever I see "tank" for draft pick posts.

This is a must read for all you out there who like to take shots at Florida every time we play them.

http://www.litterboxcats.com/2013/3/...t-and-could-be

The TL;DR version is that although the attendance LOOKS bad, it really is not. The middle 3 sections facing the cameras (stupid decision yes to have it facing the cameras) are "Club Red". Basically those sections offer a buffet, open bar, HDTV's, etc above where many people are at during the section, particularly since it is all corporate seats now since that section had their prices increased 660%! in one year. Now obviously not all of those are sold either, but plenty of them are and either not in seats or not being used that game due to the corporate nature of the tickets. There's a video in the article showing the discrepancy of the two sides of the rink.

Basically don't attack something you don't understand.

Optics are just optics. They don't mean anything.

People that liberally throw things around like about how a team should be relocated should at least bother to do a little research and understand the whole situation.

That's great and all, and ideally everyone would do research on whatever subject they're talking about. However, public perception sometimes matters more than the hardcore reality of the situation. Club Red looks good on paper, but it's terrible aesthetically.

In this case, it doesn't though. At all. Florida Panthers owners don't care what you or I think of the situation, they are worried about their own situation. And Panther fans know this situation.

I am trying to educate people on this board who like to use one off pictures to "prove" that Florida needs to be relocated. This is simply not true, particularly when you start to look the facts of the situation.
