I guess we will find out. That's a big thing to do without being 100% sure of yourself though. Other people are always a concern though; Sartre was right.

Did your girlfriend or someone drive you all the way down?

That's ****ing awesome. You can do whatever you want if you have a trustful companion. Watch sports, nap, drink, eat whatever and however, etc.

Chicago Mission won the State Championship at every level except for Squirt. Pretty impressive. Midget Majors won 5-0 after winning 7-0 in Game 1. Expect the national title to come down to them and Shattuck St. Mary's. It's been a pleasure to watch these guys all year. As always, they'll pick up right where they left off next season.

Weekly weigh in report....

Despite accidentally cheating on my diet a few days due to misreading serving sizes (seriously, 2.5 servings for a regular can of soup? Bull****!), still lost 3.2 lbs this week.

That makes me down 42.4 lbs since January 1st, so I'm at 179.6 from 222 to start the year.

Not bad, not bad.

I think there are two sections in the lower bowl of this Panthers/Canes game that are entirely empty, the ones behind the penalty box.

They're all sold. It's called CLUB RED, all those tickets come with access to a private area with open bar and buffet.

Really stupid they'd put it right in view of the TV, they should move it to the opposite end.

Yep, The GF and I have been trying to make it to New Orleans for a while. I procrastinated the flight/hotel/rental plans so badly that we just decided to up and drive. I tried to watch the Hawk's game heading through Mississippi this afternoon but the there was too much dead internet space out there. Got to New Orleans a few hours ago and just had the Catfish Po'Boy of a lifetime, delicious. Chilling in the hotel and trying to figure out what to see tomorrow.

Major snowatorm to affect the area on Tuesday...up to 12 inches of snow in some parts of the Chicago area. Hope the game doesn't get cancelled against MIN.

No snow in December or January, a lot in February, and the most in March? That's crazy

*******. I'm going to the game and my brother is supposed to drive up and get me at work. This could really throw plans off.

Use the train if possible. It's been brutal as is without the snow.

How many inches was it when we had the snow day? All I can find is 2 IN per hour. I know eventually it was over 20 but was wondering how the worst day compared to 12 inches.

The blizzard 2 years ago? I believe it was just over 20 at O'Hare with higher totals locally.
