Would be epic if both the Hawks and the Habs continued their unbeaten streak through to the end of the season, went through their conferences in 12 games, and then had a final against each, unbeaten team against unbeaten team, that went to a game 7 overtime.

With Subban scoring the winning goal.

CAR G Cam Ward's knee injury is MCL, expected to be sidelined 6 to 8 weeks.
Cam Ward out 6-8 weeks. That's gotta hurt...

Somebody is going to have to win the SE by default because all 5 teams suck. Florida is a lottery team. Carolina TB would be under .500 in most divisions and Winnipeg and Washington don't look good.

The Anaheim Ducks reportedly have inked undrafted center Charlie Sarault to a three-year/entry level contract.
Sarault is the leading scorer in the OHL as he has 102 points, including 22 goals for the Sarnia Sting. The playmaker tweeted that he had signed the deal with the Ducks although Anaheim has not formally announced the transaction. "I guess since its not so much of a secret anymore, yes the rumours are true I did just lately sign to the Anaheim ducks, I can't express In words how happy and excited I am to be signed by such a great organization #Honoured #DreamComeTrue," Sarault wrote. Look for Sarault to play in the minors next season as he needs to get his feet wet as a professional.

Carolina is 10-3-1 against teams outside their division. but without Ward, it's going to be tough sledding.

Mike Brown is now an Oiler for a 4th in 2014. I am sure Carlyle is crying.

Any interest in Komisarek? Leafs want to trade him.

BTW, TOR now cheering for EDM to make playoffs this year. If so, 4th rder in 2014 for Mike Brown becomes 3rd rder in 2014.

Jesus Christ, why in the world is that condition attached to a trade for a 4th liner?

He'll probably rotate in and out as a healthy scratch depending on injuries.

He's been really impressive.

Can't hate a young immigrant kid making it in the NHL. Especially when he grew up a Habs fan. He's just fun to watch.

Like Subban, hopefully Kadri inspires more kids to try out hockey.
