And if Despres is scratched?

Doesn't Malkin still have to take the IMPACT test? He might be cleared to practice, but I'm not sure he's cleared to play.

Despres can't sit, I mean... nah. DB is a stubborn idiot, but he's not THAT stubborn... right?

Yes now it is really hard to argue that we all our 'doom & gloomers' for little or no reason with this. I need another cup of coffee. I am getting upset.

If this was a one time occurrence then I wouldn't be so mad. This however is just par for the course with Bylsma. This is how he "rewards" his rookies that play well and even better than some of the vets in the lineup.

I don't want to do that too you. It just looked like pensinsidescoop twitter showed that Borts and Despres were rotating.

Here's a 'feel better' gift from twitter search:

Don't think I've ever seen Malkin skate as hard as he is today for a morning skate. #Penguins

So, BB is sent to the press box while TK continues to steal air from useful players on the 3rd line. Great way to show accountability.

If Despres is scratched, I'm officially handing in my Disco apologist card.

Well somebody has to be held accountable for letting in all those goals last game.

As long as Tyler Kennedy breathes and is a starter in the lineup, Dangles shouldn't sit.

Hah, seriously. It is just me being optimistic that I won't have to deal with being put in an infuriating mood later today.

I must admit that the notion that Geno might play is exciting. Added that Despres may not be scratched just made my day. Thanks for the lift!

I wish some of our local media would get some balls and ask DB why don't you play your younger players? Why do players like TK and Glass play every game no matter how bad they play?

Sounds like Geno is pushing.

Whether or not Despres plays (and I can't imagine that he won't . . . cough, Bylsma, cough), it's beyond mindless to have him rotating with anyone.

I don't get scratching Despres if it happens. The team has a far better record with him vs. Bortuzzo. Only thing I can think of is DB may want another big guy that can scrap in case someone tries to run Geno first game back after the concussion.

So, fine, scratch Niskanen.

So TK is a minus 3 last game, 4 pims and he'll still be on the 3rd line while young Beau is relegated to drinkin the water and watchin from the box? Ya I'll flip too if this and Despres sits. It'll be lessened if Geno Machino is back.

Didn't you know..... the local media just loves to wave their black and gold pom-poms. Look at how often they try to write off the Steelers' problems.

Should I turn in my fan card because I want the Lightning to blow out the Pens tonight?

Get Kennedy the **** off this team. Absolutely ridiculous he's still in the lineup.
