LOL, after I heard it the first time I forced myself to listen to make sure, then it became a sadistic trap to listen to the entire show to hear them get it wrong in every news update every 20minutes.
Oh, by the way sounds like Penguins are gonna loose in the first round, Steelers are gonna suck worse and Pirates are gonna win the division.

Listening to Ron Cook beg for Penguin fans to call in now.

Place is going to be rocking tonight.

I thought that we overreacted to the Malkin injury. The worry was legit, but Crosby was still on our minds and his situation was not the norm.

I should be happy about Geno being in the lineup tonight instead I'm pissed that apparently Kennedy will still be in the lineup over Bennett. And if Despres is also scratched.

Maybe it's Bylsma with the short term memory loss problem.

They are not good partners and do better with other players paired with them.

Eaton also played around 20 minutes last game and looked fine.

Despres looked good too in his 15 or so minutes and I thought Bennett played his best period as a Pen in the 1st and then got 5 shifts the rest of the game and possibly healthy scratched tonight. I don't get DB sometimes either. I can defend him to a point but it's almost like decides his lineup by sitting in a chair in his coaches office playing darts.
You didn't notice any egregious Niskanen turnovers against Montreal?

I think the thinking is you have Cooke with Geno in case someone messes with him, because, you know, Cooke's the guy you want in a case like that.

I guess there were some but none as bad as the one that sent that Carolina player in on a breakaway the game before.

However - it's very frustrating watching what Bylsma is doing. TK, when he was playing amazing hockey, averaged 8 minutes a game. Now that he's a complete wreck, he gets all the ice time and his spot is secure. How is that happening?

And for crying out loud.. someone tell me how ANYONE could possibly bench BB or Despres right now? They are playing superb hockey. We got Eaton to have as an 8th. That doesn't mean we have to plug him into the damn line up every night. How the hell does this happen? How does it keep happening to our best consistent players (for their role) such as Despres, Vitale, Bort, & lord knows DJ will be a healthy scratch, too. Or they'll just limit DJ's minutes even though he showed great ability w/ more and more shifts.

It's just so frustrating right now.
It seems to me that unless he's absolutely forced to (ie : Malkin), DB doesn't want to play anybody whose game is more complicated than "Grind, Grind, Grind".

Offensive skill offends Disco Dan.

Nope, saw the lineups before I got overjoyed.

Now I'm pissed off. I mean, I'm happy Geno's back, but I'm pissed about all the other stuff. Ya know?

He officially was credited with one giveaway in the game for whatever that's worth.

I guess Jeffrey staying in the lineup is something positive.

In unrelated news, the NHL has decided to stop using the three blind mice as game day statisticians.

Don't worry it will only be for one game. During this game he'll score a goal or two then subsequently ride the pine for the rest of the game and be benched for the next.

Maybe i'm letting my emotions cloud my judgment. Does Kennedy bring something positive to the lineup that Bennett doesn't that I'm missing?

Switch Bennett and Cooke and we're good.

Chest snipes, horrible defensive play, and bad decision making.

Edit: oops, you said positive...

He brings nothing. No idea why he hasn't been benched even once this season. Should just stick hi on the 2nd line an go with it. And every time I see that 4th line on paper I dislike it even more, outside of Vitale.
