I actually get more stuff done when I'm WFH. I love it, especially during the summer. Saves on gas, saves the time getting ready in the morning, and I'd just grill chicken every day for a delicious / tasty / cheap meal.

Once or twice a week is perfect.

He does have a pretty awesome home office (one wall is all built-ins, another wall is primarily window), but right now it needs to be repainted/decorated. It wasn't high on our to do list for moving in to the house.

Current color : diarrhea brown.
Curtains: uuuugh...

edit: actually- here is what the office looked like when we bought it (from real estate website).

Yeah... I work in an industry that working from home will never be an option. When I do work at home its cause I didn't have time to finish some administrative thing so I end up doing it on the computer at home.

Bad ass. What direction do those windows face? Any issues with glare or the sun?

The office faces right out of the front of the house, so it's facing the NE. I love the view. No glare or sun issues because the porch is also right there, so it's shaded.

And now I want to paint it and spruce it up. Heh.

Between Clock working from home and us being landlords, we get quite the tax benefit too. I think the office may be the other big summer project (besides nursery #2).

The only possible choices are:
Airline pilot
Scuba diver
Restaurant manager

Mid-afternoon run in the cold after a small breakfast and all veggie lunch was an interesting benchmark. I'm tanked.

I'm in the office about once every two weeks now. There is another person who, when we finally vacate our current site, will be sharing a desk. If she makes it in once a week, it's a lot.

This weekend was busy, awesome, awkward, cool, tough, and a whole bunch of other things.

Friday night:
- My Squirt B team played the playoff champs of our league tough in a 3-0 loss
- Played Words Against Humanity with my new GF's four best friends (two couples). I was so well received that her best friend wants to go look at wedding dresses to get a head start.

Saturday:
- My Squirt B team lost 7-3 against a team we beat earlier in the season
- Went to my kids' karate tournament. It was tough because of the awkwardness of my ex not wanting me there and the guy that she cheated on me with being there. I loved being there for my kids and had to comfort my oldest when it became obvious that he wouldn't be able to make it to our hockey game in the afternoon because the karate tournament would take too long to get him to the rink before the game.

Side note: This song was on repeat to calm me during various moments at the karate tournament

- My Squirt B team lost 8-0 to my hometown team

Sunday:
- I had a great morning with my GF including me making us breakfast
- My Squirt B team won our consolation game 1-0
- I hung out with my GF and her two dogs and it was awesome
- We went bowling with my GF's former co-workers and had a blast. Plus, I won a friendly bet on who would do better.

I've always been a wrestling fan. It isn't as good as it was during the 'attitude' era of the 90's but still entertaining.

Bad-assness like having authentic Jedi weaponry in your office?

NERDS UNITE

EDIT: The autocorrect for Sabres is seriously annoying.
