Should probably put a warning that no I have not made these up, and no I wont bother to put the various sources I found them in, please take them with a bucket or two of salt, and if you must know the source just type Arsenal or Arsenal rumours into google news and most of them are there, or buy some English newspapers for the rest.

Anywho:

We (Arsenal) are interested in Sebastian Rode, can't say I've heard of the lad but a quick search states he's having a good first Bundesliga season.

Jovetic interest, this one doesnt seem to be going away, and seems to be building up steam, in the media world at least.

We are interested in a chap called Angello Ogbonna, again never heard of him but a quick search says he's doing well in Serie A.

Daryl Janmaat as a replacement for Sagna on the cards aparently.

Maxime Gonalons is reported to be being scouted by us.

Villa, still on the cards for summer transfer.

On source I will list is The Guardian who have made a claim, via a couple other British papers that these lot are on the wish list of Wenger:

Adrián López, Edinson Cavani, Etienne Capoue, Nicolas N'Koulou, and Pepe Reina. And as for the staff they've mentioned that Patrick Vieira as Liam Brady's replacement as head of youth development.

So once again, don't shoot the messenger and all that

Ogbonna was in the Italian squad for Euro 2012 but didn't play, plays for Torino

Croatian international Vukojevic joins Spartak Moscow on loan, Russian window is open until the 28th I think

Astute move by Anzhi. One of the more under-appreciated CB's in Europe. Been great everywhere he's played and sensational for his NT.

Guess he fills in for Samba?

Spahic great everywhere he's been?
He was called "the butcher" here.

I know he's from Bosnia but man... that's a new one.

I remember him being great for Montpellier, or at least our media telling us he was great for Montpellier .

Haha,
He was very good the first year, then absolutely brutal (in both senses) the second year. Overall, he was suspended 17 (!) games that second season because of red cards and violent conducts. Oh and he was awful on the pitch too.

That's an interesting move by Lewandowski. He could very well leave Dortmund and burn out somewhere pretty quickly. I'll never understand some footballers and their decisions on where to play.

Guess that's opened the door for Dzeko's return to Germany.

I hope not, he's too good for Bayern and they already have two good-enough strikers.

Well, the rumor currently is in Germany that Bayern won't go hard after Lewandowski this summer. They are allegedly pretty clear with him for a switch after his contract runs out a year from now, but they don't want to just pay Dortmund a big fee for the remaining year on his deal. Which makes sense, given their given options up front. It fits all too well that in that light that Lewandowski recently emphasized that he could very well see himself playing out the contract in Dortmund and isn't dead set on leaving in the summer. I would prefer that outcome to buying him for €30M this summer.

Yeah, I like Gomez too much. I think he's crazy underrated by Bayern fans because they're mis-remembering certain details of last season's CL final - as in, Robben and Schweinsteiger playing horribly and leaving Gomez isolated and triple-marked and Jupp forgetting that set pieces are a thing.

Gomez is better than Madzu and he's better than Lewandowski - we don't need Lewandowski and I hope he stays in the Bundesliga for the good of the league.

Would lose respect for him if he went to Hollywood. Go to Arsenal or Chelsea man.

Been expecting him to come to Dortmund for awhile now.

I agree that Gomez gets too bad a reputation for a lot of things. But at the same time, it has to be recognized - he isn't really better than Mandzukic all things considered. He's a better pure goalscorer, by a fair bit. But Bayern being as good as they have been this year has a lot to do with Mandzukic being the player he is. He's involved, he's the first guy pressuring the opposing defensemen, and almost sets the tone for our aggressive pressing that happens all over the field. Gomez isn't capable of the work or the work rate against the ball Mandzukic puts in every time, almost all over the pitch. He would likely still be the more productive (in terms of goalscoring) player than Mandzukic is right now, but the way we're playing, he isn't capable of making this team as good as it is with Mandzukic in it. It's just a matter of the right fit for the system.

It becomes less unrealistic each year, but Dortmund won't shell out €20M+ for him, let alone the wages. City would really have to go down on their asking price, and he'd really have to take a severe pay cut. I don't know if I see either, let alone both, happening. It would be a lot more like Dortmund to snag up Diouf from Hannover for fractions of it, while getting themselves a very good player.

How close are they to paying off all of that debt? I figured they'd be big spenders soon with as healthy as the club is now.

Szalai has an 8,5mil out clause at Mainz, they may look into that.

Phew, no idea, to be honest, but I'm sure it will take a few more years. We should see a gradual increase in money outgoing if they can sustain the income they generate in CL football especially, but I would be surprised to see them put too much money in single transfers, unless it's a really special opportunity like with Reus.

probably. id like to think there is a chance of seeing the prodigal son come home

Also find it interesting that CR7...the brand was partly created by SAF and United (in addition to Ronaldo himself of course). Ronaldo didn't want the number 7 at United.
