The lottery is just for the number one pick and then everyone is slotted according to record from number 2 on?

They claim a guy whose got caught 3 times using his head like a battering ram into another players head not dirty. Now you add this and the other stuff he pulls. I just don't get it.

Brodeur isn't playing. I wouldn't qualify it as coming back down to Earth just yet.

He is still out? Didn't know that, hopefully when he comes back his puck handling skills have magically disappeared. Still, I will enjoy the Devils drop in the rankings while I can. Now if only the Lightning can win...

He got taken off the injured list today but didn't play tonight. He should be back soon though.

And realistically, don't we want the Penguins to win? They're definitely going to make the playoffs, where the Bolts are "bubble" team.

Comparing the Lightning being a bubble team and the Pens losing, I pick the Pens losing every time. Realistically, and for playoff chances yes we should want them to win, but since I hate them I want them to lose all the time.

The Kings only have eight shots for the game and three goals!

Bryz has setup as many goals as Cartsie. How do you not even accidentally get more assists?!

I guess that is why he has looked worse than normal. Never really liked him as a player. I have got to see him a lot since I live down here in Florida. His skills were always a bit overrated.

Sucks for the Panthers, they could've gotten someting for him at the TDL.

An article focusing on Pat Quinn and the Flyers' streak in 1979-80. One exception is the writer is incorrect in saying Rick St. Croix played the night of the loss. Phil Myre was the goalie that night. St. Croix played later in the season and won against the North Stars.

There’s a little insider’s intuition there. After the Flyers hit their 35th undefeated game on Jan. 6, 1980, they were clobbered the next night by the Minnesota North Stars, 7-1 (with current Leafs goalie coach Rick St. Croix making his only start of the year) and their coach Lou Nanne presented each of the players with a plaque to commemorate snapping the streak.
