As for Tyler Kennedy and Tanner Glass, lounge chairs are in order.
There's no way that even you yourself know what you're rambling on about anymore.

Speak for yourself. At first look all we had were line combos at morning skate, no waivers yet.

Reactions by most, including me, maybe strong but understandable. Congrats to SS66 and you for being on top of it!

From Yohe:

Quote:
Don't expect left wing Beau Bennett to remain in Wilkes-Barre. In fact, he will probably be back with the Penguins by Tuesday. The organization sent Bennett to the AHL on Monday, but it was a procedural move. Right wing Zach Boychuk was placed on waivers on the same day that center Evgeni Malkin was activated. Because Boychuk's status was unknown Monday afternoon, the team needed to clear a roster spot.
Not that we hadn't figured this out by game time last night but...

I think Bennett will join the team in Philly.

I'm pretty sure that when a player is sent down he actually has to report to that team, that's why Tangradi was sent down to Wheeling a couple years ago, closer to Pittsburgh

The Pens are in Philly on Thursday, if Bennett actually reported to Wilkes Barre, it's a 2 hour drive from there to Philly.

So who sits Thursday so Bennett can dress?

Think about that question and realize that the pause in the series of apoplectic posts will be short lived.

EDIT: ****, I forgot that Jeffrey would sit, because clearly he needs to come out of the lineup before Kennedy or Glass.

I'd bet money its Vitale he only had 6 minutes of ice time last night and didnt seem to play much after the first Stamkos goal which seemed like he was late back checking

Bennett-Malkin-Neal 2nd line

Dave Molinari ‏@MolinariPG
Correction: Beau Bennett actually is at the Penguins' practice, and is skating on a line with Malkin and Neal.

Will DePaoli ‏@TIOPS_DePaoli
Beau Bennett back on second line.

I like Dangles being on a scoring line, but I still worry about that specific fit given how Neal plays and what that means in terms of what Malkin needs from his other winger.

I'll assume the best and hope this is the coaches wanting to give that trio an honest look to see how much of a priority, if any, the L2 LW situation will be as the deadline comes.

Combined with the outrage over Despres being a healthy scratch (which also turned out not to be true) this place was the message board equivalent of Jerry Springer yesterday.

I gotta say, BB deserves to be in the top 6 and makes us a better hockey club with Cooke going back with Sutter. Our bottom six is a mess right now(except for Sutter).

BB should stay on Malkin or Sid's wing until we get a better option to put there, period.

I agree, and call me crazy, but while I would like to see a trade for a good winger to replace TK or bump Super-Dupers down, I do believe that TK will eventually turn things around. It's not like the effort hasn't been there, and his play & effort have actually picked up lately. As I said, he's not a naturally skilled enough player to miss half a year and still be good; but I do think that he will improve as the season goes on (if he's still on the team, of course).

Pretty much. If Bennett flops there it doesn't really mean anything for him, and an at least decent showing takes off some pressure of finding someone for that spot. Might as well. I think they'll still need to get someone, but I think he'll at least NOT be a void on that line.
