Well, this will be a fun one to watch tonight. Can only get better. Lets see our kids develop in this bizzare miniseason.

He's been ok. Had a really bad game Saturday night.

His problem has been, and continues to be, that he gets knocked down way too easily. He has good size and speed but he needs to get under control.

I think this callup is 1) a reward for Rheault's solid season and 2) a tryout for next season. I think they want to see what they have with all of their RFA's.

Hey buddy give us a nutshell on Rheault. Always love your insight here and on twitter.

Rheault is a tremendous worker with a good deal of skill. Very shifty with the puck and a good passer. Also extrememly smart. He is short, but is solid as a rock.

He might not get on the scoresheet a ton, but he will never be seen floating around.

Probably my favorite Rampage forward after Timmins.

Yeah he definitely deserves the callup with the season he's had too. Glad he's getting a shot this season and I'm actually hoping he does well.

Side question, it looks like since being acquired Zack Hamill has done well for the Rampage. With the loss of Weiss, I wonder if he's gonna get a shot as well since we could use a center (though that would suck for you guys too with your lack of center depth).

I think it depends on what the Panthers need out of that player.

Hamill is a 1st/2nd line center in the AHL. Good passer and good on the PP. More of a scoring type. But again, that's at this level. Not sure how it would translate to the NHL.

If you want a 3rd/4th line type, then I would think Timmins should be recalled. He won't score, but he wins faceoffs, forechecks, and kills penalties.

At this point, they should be giving everyone a look. Our season is pretty much wasted, due to all the injuries (there and here). Give these guys a look so you have a better idea how to proceed this summer, IMO.

Thanks for the compliments on the GDT, all.

Going to be interesting seeing what Dineen does with the lines without Weiss. Who centers Kopecky and Flash? Goc?

Smithson - 4

First of all, I have to say that I love the GDT and how detailed it is. Great job, Benched!

With the playoff hopes done, for this game and the rest of the season, we're going to get a real good look at the beginnings our future. With Markstrom in net as the starter for likely the remainder of the season and callups routinely coming into the lineup with so many injuries, it should be a bit exciting to see what they can bring to the table.

There's still 0.8% chance!! COMMMMME ONNN MANNNNN!!!

I do share your excitement for the kids to get their shot though, Markstrom must be loving the thought of knowing he isn't catching a flight back to SA anytime soon.

Hey guys, just a hockyey fan here. Florida have a quite interessting lineup this year but so many injuries. Any timeframe on when Versteeg & Jovanovski is back? How much do you think those 2 players can change this team for the possitive matter?

Go Panthers!

Winnipeg's Noel on Markstrom:
"Markstrom, first of all, can win a game by himself," Noel said. "He's starting. I've seen him play. He can make the difference in the game right away. Right away, he becomes the equalizer."

#respect.

That word isn't handed out, it is earned! The idiots (Doug Maclean and "One Punchee" Kyperos) on Sporsnet Ontario are still saying we should do the Luongo trade but make no mention we have Markstrom at all.

Coaches can strategize all they want against our forwards and defense but how can you plan for the 6'6 Swede covering 85% of the net. I'll be watching our Golden boy with a big on my face tonight. We can win this game and prove the season is not completely lost.
