Hail Mary breakout passes haven't worked all season long.

Partly that, and party his intensity. He is sleep walking a bit on his shifts. Not terribly impressed with how he is playing this game.

Gabs is getting a LOT of space and he is doing almost nothing with it.

See it's 2-2. How have they played? Just got back from dinner.

I'd love to see Nash have a big third period. He needs to do some damage against a rivalry team to really put the icing on the cake.

It's been a very open game thus far. Both teams getting chances.

Generally they have played well. They certainly look faster on their breakouts/transition.

Some really dumb penalties. The Dmen look pretty shaky tonight. The forwards look pretty good generally speaking...

Nash is having a little bit of a hard time with the tempo. I think playing Richards screwed up his timing a little bit.

What are you talking about? Gaborik has made some good shots to the net today but Bryzgalov has made better saves.

I mean, the guy has 2 40 goal seasons in New York so the team is obviously better with him than without him, you don't just turn over a rock and find 40 goal scorers. Unfortunately though, he's incredibly inconsistent and that never bodes well when you play for a team in New York.
Gaborik and Datsyuk would be filthy good. Remember the All-Star game?

He is not moving in the neutral zone, and he is gliding too much into open space. He has had a couple decent shots, but he isn't really creating or getting involved.

Hard to be disappointed with the effort that period. Come out with the same energy and I'm confident we'll pick up two points.
