Dammit, I need to watch that somehow. At least the first season.
I loved that show.
That and the original Transformers were basically my entire childhood.

My childhood was basically Cartoon Network, Donald Duck comics, science books and motorsport.

On Saturday morning I was just chilling on my couch going through channels and saw some new power rangers show. I thought I'd stop by and see how the suits looked this season and all that.
The gimmick this season is that their suits and zords and stuff come from a deck of cards.
Seriously.
They have a little scanner thing the size of like a football(american), and a slot pops out, then they draw from a deck of cards on their belt, and they get the card to morph and slide it into the scanner, then they get their suits on.
Once they are in the color suit, they have a little pistol on their hip. They then scan a card and three little things pop out and float in mid air, they grab one and slide it onto their gun, and that's how they modify everything.
They also have to draw a card to call their robot zord thing, and then another card to combine everything into the big robot.
I was so dumbfounded I did not realize that I wasted a good 15-20 minutes watching it. Soooooooo bad.

The first season was actually kind of fun, but then it went downhill fast. How it has lasted this long I have no freaking idea.

Dolla Dolla Bills Y'all.
(No seriously. The Power Rangers shows are a) cheap to produce and b) a glorified 30 minute infomercial.)

Good thing because you'd get an infraction otherwise.

Anyone else watch this yet? First two episodes can be found >
here < on the History Channel site.
Ragnar looks a lot like Jax from Sons of Anarchy. Pretty good show so far; looks promising.

Not really. It's only two episodes into the series so far. They do talk about gods though -- Odin, Loki and Thor. Watch the first couple minutes of episode one.

On the subject of tv shows, anyone a Game of Thrones fan? I just started watching it and I'm halfway through season 1. Pretty entertaining so far IMO.

Game of Thrones is awesome sauce. I liked the first season a bit more than the second. I can't wait until the 31st for season three.

As a reader of the books, season 3/4 will be the best seasons. My god. Book 3 was sooooooooooo good.

I haven't really gotten into the show much, but my gf wants to start watching it on HBO Go so I think after spring break we'll go hard in the paint.
The books are fantastic though.
