Bryz was awful on the last two goals. Total ****. He doesn't deserve to be an NHL goaltender.

4.5/5

This isn't new. He was playing above his norm early in the season and now he has fallen back to his mean.

For those possibly thinking of still buying him out or doing something else with him to get him off the team, who else is there to replace him? Luongo would take too much, plus his contract is bigger. Trying to get Allen or Lehner away? Both would probably take too much as well. Lehner is basically the future for Ottawa and I could see Allen be the future for the Blues.

That would take as much if not more than Allen or Lehner. Also, I bet you that whatever team Bryz will go to, he will beat us most of the time.

Ehhh, no. Bernier, Allen or Lehner might be the better options over Bishop. But either way, no matter how good they are, they would still be losing this game (being left out to dry).

I've defended Bryz all of last year and all this year. But now? Im done. We will never win with him. He has to be amnestied

That's the thing..... it doesn't matter! If no good options open up, you pay anyone a mil or two to stand between the pipes and they'll match Bryz's numbers. Then you'll have millions of dollars to spend elsewhere. Easy decision.

So let's all put Leighton back in there full time. Yep. That sounds like a great plan. We can't go wrong with that .

IMHO he is the best of those goalies. Bernier next and then Allen/Bishop.

Like I said, Lehner is more than likely the future goalie for the Sens.

You're missing the point. Of course I'd like a top option in net. But any back-up goalie in the NHL right now is comparable to Bryz, and would free up millions of dollars in cap room.

I would have been all for it at the start of the season. Doing it then we would have had a chance to get Jones. Now? Just ride out the rest of the season with Bryz and see if he improves or not. If he improves enough give him next year. If he falters more or next year, amnesty him. Don't need a 5.67M goalie playing like one we can get for 1M-2.5M.

allen is a trade piece that is going to get dealt especially with st louis's goalie depth. Even at worst he improve the back up position.

i only saw the last goal, Nash breakaway - would have been better off had he not been hooked .... 1. no penalty 2. the lifting of the stick threw Bryz off

i'll watch the game & assess the other goals ... i know #1 was a PP goal

Not helping is the fact we can't line change for ****, have too many defensemen out to injury (Mez and Grossman) and we have some that pinch too much (Gus). That wrister by Nash was insanely good and even the best of goalies would have a hard time with that. And it all started because Gus pinched way too far in.

There was that one last game against Ottawa where he barely got a piece, then looked behind himself into the net. Otherwise, I can't think of a single one.
